Have you stopped seeing a regular client?

I continually notice people tossing around the term "regular". Please indulge me and post your definition of the term. Weekly? Twice weekly?

My definition of regular would be like your go to girl. Not necessarily X times per week...it could be that you're the provider a hobbyist calls when he wants a session everytime.

This could be once a week... Once a month ect.

She is the best I have ever been with, but I know I'll never leave my wife, so I intentionally restrict the times I contact her so I won't do anything stupid, like tell her how much I love her. I've never told her that because I don't want anything to change.

Over time, I'll get over her. In the meantime, I see different girls every week to ease the infatuation.

I would never see same woman back to back sessions. Probably need to see at least 2 or 3 different ladies before I do a repeat. See the potential dangers about being overly infatuated with one and don't need that issue in my life.

I would prefer only seeing the same provider, but looking for that one with the right mix of attributes, the ever elusive ATF.

I think I am being "fired" lol from a regular provider I have been seeing about once every 4-5 weeks.
We haven't had any bad interactions.
I am getting the cold shoulder. She is still providing so it isn't a break from the hobby.

I know it is her choice so not complaining, but I was just wondering how often this happens with the providers?
I can't be 100% certain if she is dropping me, but I don't want to contact her anymore if she is out of respect.

Someone that I feel completely comfortable with and enjoy their company enough to want to see them again, of which I always make clear with some kind of follow up note after a session.

They've got my number ... I've got theirs ... they just have to text or call and say, hey...lets get together.
No screening, no PM bullshit... no back and forth with email.

It might be once per week or even once every two months.

But in my definition .... that is a regular.

Let's put the shoe on the other foot. OP, if you were the one wanting to call it quits with a provider you have been seeing regularly, how would you handle it? Would you tell her you were moving on or would you just not call her again?

My personal opinion is which ever side decides enough is enough they should tell the other person. Why? Because even though this is a hobby and a business transaction and we should not get all emotional, end the end we are all still human beings and there is a lot of intimacy between client and provider and both parties deserve the respect and courtesy of being treated like a human being. It all comes down to treating others the way you want to be treated.

And when someone ends it, don't get all butt hurt about it. Just tell them thanks for all the good times and best of luck to you. It ain't rocket surgery people.

I was going to start another thread stating golforfish's point. Why can't a woman just say "I'm not/no longer interested".

Ghosting of other human beings is uncivil. The amount of time wasted by sudden stops in conversation leads to sending out multiple requests, which in turn wastes multiple other's time(you can choose only one). I hate doing that, and still refuse to do so, but it is tempting.

I understand that there isn't any short term benefit to being civil to those you don't intend to extract anything from, but Kharma has a long memory, and eventually sets thing aright.
