Haggling is INSULTING

I guess that makes me low class and unprofessional to ask for guys to respect my advertised rates. I apologize if I came off harsh but enough is enough. Im sure I am not the only provider who feels insulted by it im just the only one bold (and maybe stupid) enough to speak on it.
so if someone pays the posted rates, are they expected to tip as well?

You are a business darling......

Smile and say no Thank-You like I do.

Complaining is simply lower class and far more unprofessional than the guy trying to get you to lower your rate.

Take from it and learn and share with the other girls......

You have obviously identified that there IS a business here and an opportunity for someone to fill, perhaps not you, but someone usually steps up and fills the gap.

As the Economy continues to stay low... Guys ARE looking at options.....

The circle of "friends" I have that have been to the Luncheons and Dinners I put together are taking advantage of lower priced alternatives where they get more bang for their buck.

Guys that used to write Indy Reviews are still spending $300 a session but spending the $300 on a gal that is giving them 2-3 hours for it. And of course there are $200 girls as well as $50-$80 ITC action available to them as well. I think the Economy makes EVERYONE look around a bit as well as try to get a better deal.

I agree wholeheartedly that you have a right to set your price but someone is ALWAYS going to want a better deal.

Don't hate on them for asking.

Ignore it and move on. Originally Posted by Whispers

I believe one thing in this business is not to wear your feelings on your sleeve. You all have a great evening!!!!!!!!

I think you are having a bad day otherwise and chose to grind out this irritating fact of doing business.
I have been haggled so many times in the past 15 years it does not even faze me anymore.... dont let it get you down, just ignore and move along

I am sure the guy could afford your rate, some guys just love to play the haggle game.

I know for a fact and from first hand experience.
Asians, Arabs and Eastern Indians LOVE TO HAGGLE its part of their culture,, perhaps this client was one of these races?

all races haggle but these 3 are much more ingrained to do so..

i never expect anything, if someone decides to tip great, if they dont do i feel any different about them? no.

another thing to consider is, is the lady traveling? when a lady is traveling she is paying for a hotel and travel costs as well so she might not want to take short quickie appts or negotiate her rate.

I guess i was just rubbed the wrong way and it wasnt just one guy, there have been several over this week of me being here in austin. Its also just not me my friend who is down here is getting the same types of requests.

Sorry if i came off harsh.

Jules....haggleing has been part of the game since day one..and it will continue no matter what is said, or how many ladies protest...

With that said just list "donations are non-negotiable" directly on your advertisment (close to your rates) and you'll see a huge drop in hagglers.

If they contact you and haggle you even AFTER they have read that your prices are non-negotiable you can simple say ."no thanks"...and then block there email address, handles or phone number so you never have to speak to them again.

Dont upset yourself over something you have NO control over, it's really not worth it in the long run...

I don't think haggling is a big deal at all (big fucking surprise). I have a musical service that I am actually going to work a side business and have potential clients "haggle" all the time even though I have a set rate. I don't take it personal, its business.

I like ya Jules but when you log on as Jules Jaguar, you become a business. Don't take it personal....

I would agree haggling is not cool. If he shows up and starts trying to haggle that's really not cool. I do understand $$$ times and guys have needs but be cool about it... we do have bills to pay
