Are all the providers really leaving or is the hobby naturally cleansing itself?

You are right that I do not guide any of them here.

Maybe I make it easy for them to cross the line but they don't really want to think of them selves as crossing a line..... More than a few that have been to the luncheons are aware of the site and have said they want nothing to do with it because they are not a whore. You seem to be unaware of those discussions as to why strippers provide ITC and OTC but deny they are prostituting themselves. Preferring instead to think of themselves as having a few select friends with benefits.

There are some EXTREMELY negative aspects to this lifestyle.....

I may be the "first" with a number of ladies but I am seldom the "last" or only one..... If it's not me it's going to be someone else....

So let me get this straight... Your OK with the ones that are IN the lifestyle, just don't want to know how they got here or be one that gets them here?

We all have moments when we are not proud of what happens around here.... what we do..... but at the end of the day.... the more information... the greater the accuracy..... the more decisions can be made in an educated manner. Not just by us but by the ladies as well.

The information that came out recently opened a lot of eyes.... and ears.... I've heard from some guys that will never write another review.... one that may never hobby again..... a couple of ladies that share those feelings about certain clients....

I don't gloat over the damage done the ladies.... I know many of them and care about a few of them..... I try to make sure where I interact with any of them that I am open and honest about my interests....

But.... I'm not here for relationships..... I'm not looking to flirt..... I don't particularly want to be # 4 for the day, #11 for the week and #37 for the month...... So I prefer newer talent....

I think you are overestimating the numbers here... I'd hazard a guess that an overwhelming majority of the ladies that Whispers has had on his arm over the years do not go the provider route. Some might hook up with another guy or two or three, but that's probably about the extent of it, as they really don't think of themselves as sex workers... just a lady trying to make ends meet with some awfully nice older gentlemen with the means to help them out.

It was brought up in a recent post that it seems that many providers are leaving the hobby. Thobby. There have been 3 recent retirements by well known providers who have been around at least 3 to 4 years.

I feel that providers are not being "run off" but simply the hobby is cleansing itself out. The provider shelf life is much shorter than a hobbyist. No one can argue that providing takes a physical and emotional toll that most cannot endure for too long. For every Kat there is a college cutie (who lasted maybe 6 months). Hobbyists can hobby much longer because the emotional effects are pale compared to providers.

Providers also must compete with the never ending slew of new providers ready to make their mark and cash taking advantage of being the new girl. Established providers must count on cultivating business relationships with their regulars and make sure their A game is on to attract new clients as well.

I don't feel the girls are leaving in droves. I feel the hobby pool is mearly going through its natural cycle of cleansing itself. There are new providers who have joined in the last few weeks who are making their marks, becoming someone's ATF, etc.

I will personally miss Natalie Reign. I am also happy for her because she seems to be in a great place in her life. Besides, providing is meant to be a means to an end, not the end....
