Popular Misconceptions About Providers

I'm a night person, but not a party gal. My friends joke I'm a vampire 'cause they rarely see me out in bright daylight, and then my pale skin starts burning immediately under the sun. Hmmm, maybe I am. I just suck a different fluid to keep me going.

I agree Zarah but in my experience once I find a TRUE friend in the hobby, there is not a friend I can trust more, albeit difficult to find, just knida happened to me. The friend knows I hobby, knows I pay for sex, knows I see multiple women and does not judge me for it. I have plenty of friends outside the Hobby, do they know I hobby, nope.

Oh you have said it so well. I have met women that I find will be great friends in or out of the hobby. The how I met them aside I cherish their friend ship and would help them just as I would help any good friend. One poster on this thread mentioned just being together is a high unlike no other. Bless you Nicole

As a vet of 5+ years in the hobby, enjoying dozens of ladies, I can state confidently that the variety on this board, in every dimension you can imagine (and i have a vivid imagination) is immense. So lifestyle varies accordingly.

Never prejudge. (Well, except that redheads are really wanton.)
I didn't read every answer so I may be duplicating, but here are some of the misconceptions that bother me:

People think:

1) I'm not a good person, not trustworthy, and not honest.

2) That I can be bought to do anything at some certain price or under some circumstance that has just not been presented to me, but they are trying 100 different suggestions to talk me into XXXX whatever.

3) That I should do whatever is asked of me immediately without complaint for $$$, or that whatever the fee is paid for whatever amount of time makes me someone's slave for that given time and I have no limits.

4) That I am a greedy person who is overpaid and that I do not deserve what I earn.

5) That I lack intelligence and I need to be advised on a many any numbered and various aspects of life....because I do this job, I obviously am not able to take care of myself or use my deductive powers to take care of myself, and that I welcome suggestions from anyone who happens to contact me on the internet regarding gawd only knows what and I heard a lot of stuff lol.

Last night I went to bed early. It was about 7pm for those of you who are curious. I needed to get up at 1 AM so that I could work on a research paper.
I am also trying to condition myself for my evening shift for webcam work. This week I will be online from 2Am to 8 AM.
This morning I received an appointment request. I answered it promptly and the sender sent me back this email message. “Don’t you ever sleep?”
One of the popular misconceptions about providers is that all of us are up all night partying. Even when I was younger I was never much of a night owl. Yes, I did my share of going out and staying up late but it was never a big part of my life.
Providers please share your popular misconceptions about being a provider. Gentlemen what kind of lifestyle do you believe the ladies lead? Do you think we are all party animals or that some of us lead normal lives when we are not providing? Originally Posted by mikkifine

I'll do anything for a buck.
-People I encounter tend to believe this quite a bit. I want to have fun, too, so I will not do anything that makes me uncomfortable.

For me it's a one woman show. I've already dealt with malicious females, and I dont want to go through that again. It's just a lot less drama not to have a clique.
That we are robots...lol , I had someone call today just as I was sitting down to eat, and I told him what I was getting ready to do and he said " B**ch you dont need to eat I have money to spend and you need to be on your knees doing your job " ehh wrong answer...

1. That we don't have GF's, BF's or husbands (or all 3 at the same time lol). That we can't be in a committed relationship AND be a provider.

2. That we are available 24/7. I used to have a disclaimer on my website that stated NO one could be available 24/7 and be at their best. Sex is great, but food and sleep are nice too.

3. That we are rich. Not me anyway lol

4. That we sit around in lingerie all day, full face of makeup and coiffured.

5. That we don't honestly care about what clients want. I don't think you could do this for very long if you really hated it and them.

6. That we have never done anything else. Some of us had or have "real" jobs, go to school.
The misconception that all providers lie about their age and weight.

My weight is accurate to within a few pounds, and I keep my age up to date on my own website and on profiles here and elsewhere. Its annoying to see how many men automatically assume that all providers lie about their age and weight. Should I deduct 10 pounds and 10 years so that my "assumed" provider age and weight are the same as my actual age and weight??
Ahole needs a lesson in manners and foreplay.
