To bring things back around to the HH topic, if a provider doesn't want to brand herself as a BNG, HH, PSE, GFE, Wet-Warm-Hole, then she won't. If a provider wants to brand herself as a "sex worker hiding behind an alias" who wants to appeal to the largest variety of potential clients, then she'll go ahead and offer it all. Claire is being very honest about the type of experience she is both most comfortable providing and most interested in offering and she's being told that it's not a professionally sound stand -- that's what's making me shake my head. Either way, it's turning off the clients that don't match her preferred profile and attracting those who do...so I'll call that successful branding.

Anywho, back to my hole.

Sometimes it's not about the message, but the delivery

So the way I read it is that Claire SB is saying she is no longer doing 30 min sessions for 1st timers, only for regulars. I can understand that. Her policy and it makes sense.

As for 30 min sessions, I like the option but I rarely partake of it. Just not enough time although nice to see on a menu.

In my early days of the hobby I was in and out of the session (no pun intended). Now, I take extra time. My point is different strokes for different folks and alas you can pretty much find what you need on this board if you are a hobbyist.

There is no doubt that the selection keeps growing and growing in the Austin area. I can remember when there was something like 30-40 that advertised now it’s like 300, each offering a range of services and time. Heck I recall a few providers offering 15 min sessions fairly recently.

From the hobbyist perspective the selection is nice but I can understand that not every provider is the same in terms of what they want out of this, besides just the funds I mean.

In the end there is plenty of selection for all of us to get what we need - from both sides of the equation.

I had the pleasure of meeting Claire at the Eccie Happy Hour earlier this week and exchanged contact information for a future date. She mentioned that her posting had caused quite a stir and that she had received some backlash which she hadn't expected nor desired. She explained that she had repeatedly been taken advantage of by clients booking a half hour and intentionally going a full hour or even longer and not tipping her for "overtime" compensation. From an economic and business standpoint I completely understand her position. She realizes that she may have priced herself out of the market for a segment of the community that prefers BNG and quickie bargain sessions, but she is willing to accept that.

I am a recent transplant from the East Coast where I was much more active in the hobby. My experiences and observations is that in the major cities, the standard minimum session was an hour and some ladies would only book multiple hour sessions or dinner and "dessert" dates.

Having met her in the "flesh" and upon reading her reviews of her "edging" technique and prolonged c*(k worshipping skills, I intend to book a multi-hour session with her in the very near future. Personally I have never booked a half-hour session and I typically book at least one to two hours as I enjoy an unrushed session with intimacy, sensuality, and extended foreplay and love-making. However, as they say "different strokes for different folks" so I am not criticizing the views and preferences of my fellow hobbyists who prefer to spread their hobby budget over more providers with shorter sessions.

1/2 providers screams desparation and despite the few extra cheapskates (like the ones campaigning on this thread) wanting to see you.. ultimately you are shooting yourself in the foot for the clients that are NOT struggling to put together $250-350 for an amazing experience.. rewarding (a select group) returning clients is SMART!!!

Don't feed the trolls.. the wealthy gentlemen far out weigh the few dence hagglers lurking around here.

I'll confess....I don't book with providers that offer half hour appointments. There....I said it.

Not a judgemental thing. I tend to look at my provider friends as long term friends. Half hours, BNGS, etc, just send out a red flag that perhaps someone may not be my cup of tea. However, I am OK with the concept once two people know and feel comfortable with one another. There's some role playing fantasies that can be playfully acted out in quick encounters.
