How many of us are left from ASPD?

I was among the first 100 registered members of ASPD, joining in December 1999, and was a bit of an unofficial ASPD historian.
To clarify/comment on a couple of things mentioned earlier in this thread...

ASPD was created the last week of November, 1999.
The first handle was registered November 26, 1999.

JerryD was never banished from ASPD, nor was he removed as a Mod. He resigned.
There were, at most, a very small handful of guys who claimed he was guilty of improprieties. Despite numerous pleas for anyone with information to come forward, not a single lady ever stepped forward to substantiate the rumors.
My experience with JerryD was that he was one of the most genuinely nice individuals I ever met or knew. Additionally, he was one of the most helpful hobbyists I knew in my 12 years or so involvement with the boards.

Casinoplayer21 was a post-whore, but also a lover of puns. His inclusion of a pun in most of his many, short posts is what annoyed more than a few members.
32flavors bet him $1,000 that he couldn't go a year without posting.
CP21 accepted the challenge, did stop posting for a year to win the bet, and 32flavors did pay him as promised. Originally Posted by Deuce Bigalow

I haven't thought of JerryD in a while. I had never been to an AMP and he took me for my first time. We went together several times after. It was during one of those escapades that he told me of Maddog's passing. What a shock.
I remember the situation where Jerry resigned. Others, who's names have been mentioned were more likely guilty of what Jerry was accused of. You can't find a nicer guy. I hope you and Jerry are doing well. I see Ragin Cajun quite often and talked to him on the phone today. He told me he hasn't signed on in months. That is truly a shame. I see several old ASPD guys regularly. It would be nice for more of us to get together.

Deacon Blues was a tremendous contributor to the original board. A true pioneer among those who broke new ground with the hobby and technology. ASPD started Dec. 1999. Moved there from the short lived Delphi group middle of thst month.

Good you see you, old friend!

==========================

Felonius my old friend
Step on in and let me shake your hand
So glad that you're here again
For one more time
Let your madness run with mine
Streets still unseen we'll find somehow
No time is better than now

Tell me where are you driving
Midnight cruiser
Where is your bounty
Of fortune and fame
I am another
Gentlemen loser
Drive me to Harlem
Or somewhere the same

The world that we used to know
People tell me it don't turn no more
The places we used to go
Familiar faces that ain't smilin' like before
The time of our time has come and gone
I fear we been waiting too long

Met a provider named Milan off of eros in 2005 who told me about aspd because she was proud of her reviews. I have seen her since then, but she was just about my first. Not sure if she is still around or not.

I was SweetCaitieMae, living and working in Arlington when I joined ASPD. Moved to Dallas, "by popular demand."

I completely freaked out the the I tried to post my first-ever Dallas ad and the board crashed before I clicked the submit button. Somehow I made it through and I have been sharing the Caitie Mae Experience ever since.
I lurked at bit back in the day, but was never an active contributor as I did not hobby in the area. But I got some useful info that helped me in my early days.
