This quartet is not well known, but is considered Schubert's finest. better overall than the cello quintet.

It's not played often, too exhausting emotionally, too difficult, too long.

Slow movement was used in Woody Allen Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Even the scherzo and trio is incredibly inventive and goes on its own emotional journey.

I haven't found a girl yet who can appreciate it. But if I do find her, she is mine for ever.
