Let me clarify. I did say the AFC is winnable, but probably not for the Texans....Vegas has the Texans as the longest of long shots to win the AFC. Originally Posted by Daddio

Houston 75 to 1

Pats, Broncs and Steelers....all three have glaring weaknesses and haven't looked good as of late. Keep an eye on the Chefs.....they look like they've forgotten how to lose.

Belichick is a master game planner. Has been since he came out and put it on The Greatest Show on Turf IMO.
Lots of so called experts(commentators, not Vegas) seem to be saying the Pats have no shot with the way they've played to end the season.

Now that I think about it a little, I'm not so sure they haven't just been playing a game of chess with the rest of the league. They could very well be feigning weaknesses here at the end of the season. If the Texans can beat the Chiefs they'll find out first hand. I wouldn't put anything past Belichick in the NFL or Popovich in the NBA when it comes to gamesmanship and preparing for the playoffs.

The Bronco's and Steeler's weaknesses are real. They've dealt with it all season.

It's a long shot and getting way ahead but the Texans would host the Steelers for the AFC championship if those two could run the gauntlet.

One thing I know for sure is it's kinda cool to be excited about the playoffs.

For Bum and the Oilers it was a dead end.

very slim chance Texans can beat the KC. But if they do, I don't see anyone else in the AFC that really scares me. Denver maybe, but not the totally beat up Patriots.
Chiefs pose a problem as they know how to go against JJ and the Defense. They throw quick passes that don't allow JJ to get to the QB. Smith is also very mobile and can escape pressure. The Texans corners will have to playa great game. Can't see that happening. Romeo better play some press coverage on the quick hitting passing game or we will be toast.

Not impossible for the Texans to win, but a tough match up for sure. Texan's will need to play a very solid game to win. I just hope it's not the typical Houston Buzzkill game, where the playoff crowd is pumped up and loud as hell then the Texan's lay the typical egg we have seen time and time again. Playoff football is a damn good thing!!!

As long as the Texans put pressure on the edge they will disrupt the backfield. KC allowed 46 sacks and 78 QB hits this season including that ten game stretch.

As long as coaching isn't feeling retarded we should do okay in passing as long as they avoid testing Peters.
