@ Whispers.... If sig lines were wiped out I would still post the same. The only time in a year I changed mine was to announce I was unavailable til further notice. I do see a lot of travel dates and such in them though. It does make sense if you market yourself to use every avenue. Perhaps I just haven't. I will keep it in mind but it won't change my posting numbers.

I view my posting as contributing to the board and being part of the community. On more than one occasion I am flattered to learn my clients follow my postings so it's also my way of staying in touch.

If my Nuru was a threAD as you are accusing me then I didnt do a good job marketing myself because I havent gotten to do one yet. As a matter of fact I went back to read it to see how you could have mistaken it.....

I have seen a lot of things about it and I simply went into co-ed (where by the way I am allowed/encouraged to do so ) and asked for the community's advice on how you do one.

I did not need to respond to the post due to the out pour of pms from other ladies and guys explaining how it is done and the best material for something like this.

Marketing / networking is a pretty big component of most companies success. So with that in mind i wont pooh pooh on any business woman who sets aside time to market themselves. With that said do i find some marketing to be a bit grating...sure. But just like the excessive Ford tough commercials that occur during every Dallas Cowboys game I control how much i watch and how much i skip with the simple press of a button.

Additionally I think that one should look beyond just the threAds to determine how much a person brings to the table in terms of useful information vs. self promotion. Take for instance Roxanne...who in the interest of self disclosure I have mentioned in the past that i think has a great board persona. I see her commenting in the ISO section fairly frequently pointing people to providers who might fulfill the requested services. I find that refreshing that she would send business to someone other then herself.
Beyond Roxanne i would be willing to bet that Reya has garnered more current and future customers based upon her post, the opinions expressed with in and the manor in which she expresses them. Similarly I'm assuming Maxeen has also generated great fan fair for her post but for different reasons the Reya. Maxeen comes off to me as much more off the cuff and passionate, seemingly wearing her heart on her sleeve which I'm again assuming has endeared her to many.

Without their participation on the board i would have been unable to formulate any type of opinion of them regardless of weather that opinion is accurate or not. While it may seem counter intuitive i find a ladies post a better guide to whom i am interested in then reviews by other "Johns." Here is why that is...most reviews come of as braggadocios and more chest pounding then actual passing of relevant information. Most seem to read the same way "DATY until she came, Missionary until she came, then we finished off with Doggy until we both reached an epic climax together." Maybe I'm just a cynic but i think if that was the case the provider would be paying the client next time around and I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen too often. I think they are more a testimate to the fantasy and illusion of what occurred in the persons mind more so then a factual passing of information.

Again in the interest of self disclosure i have never met any of the above mentioned ladies privately or otherwise. Nor will I likely ever (I don't think any cater to couples as far as I have garnered from their post.)
