Well, if it's bad brisket, it probably needs sauce.

That said, if you want the best brisket in the DFW, you're gonna have to come to my backyard.

It's funny that you are that dismissive of someone's choice of Sammy's. It is especially funny coming from a guy that says that he prefers Hard 8 over Lockhart and Pecan Lodge. I am guessing that you must be one of those cats that wants sauce with his brisket. Originally Posted by broes

Houstons in Addison is excellent, variety, great service, too.

Kenny's Wood Fired Grill also in Addison is fantastic.

Bob's Chop in Plano/Legacy area is my favorite for steaks. Capital Grill (anywhere) also excellent.

Jaspers in Plano/Legacy also fantastic variety and service.

Is Ethiopian cuisine similar to this place?

This place has a lunch buffet that's so good if you don't get there by 11:30 am, you will be in line to get in and in line to get food at the buffet line.

Haven't been to either restaurant before but I did have African food one time. Strange experience for me. No utensils of any kind and all the food is served together on one big platter shared by the table. Each person has some tapioca paste (I think) and you scoop that up (with your hands) and use the paste to scoop up the food and eat.

I will not eat food that other persons will also put their hands in my food.
