This topic was formed when people asked for a civilized place to hold political discussions, separate from the essentially-unmoderated general idiocy area. Somehow, someone got the idea that what was needed was an essentially-unmoderated political discussion area.
With the change in Moderators, I'd hoped the new Moderator would tighten down some, awarding some points, and maybe a few posting vacations, and getting the attention of some of the more obvious flamers. That does not seem to have happened.
