Fox News and Kamala Harris

Waco, you thought she lost the debate to Trump so your assessment is of zero value and totally lacks any credibility.

She did fine for what it was, a Trump surrogate pretending to be a journalist doing an interview. And yes, I watched the whole interview and found Bret to be simply replaying Trump and GOP talking points and pretending they are questions. He didn’t like her responses and that she essentially stated that he was even editing Trump videos to attempt to make it like she was misstating Trump when in fact Fox made an edit to Trump’s statement.

I'll say again, she went there and did the interview and it was fine. She debated and beat Trump up. She went to 60 min and did the interview. She went to CNN and did the interview. Trump is running for debates and interviews. That tells us all we need to know about which of them is the better candidate. Neither you nor I care what the other person says or does at this point since our votes are locked in. I suspect you've zero idea what a truly undecided person is looking for and neither does Fox News.

So you're telling us every single question he asked was illegitimate?

Can you be more specific? Give examples, please.

Just because you don't like a question doesn't mean it's not "legit".

Bret Baier asked the questions that are very much on the minds of millions of Americans who are still evaluating Kamala Harris. If she struggled to answer them, it's because they dealt with policy decisions made by her and Biden (e.g. opening the border) that are simply not defensible. None of the questions were unexpected. At this point in the campaign, she should have better answers to them, however unpersuasive those answers may be.

When it comes to her efforts to distance herself from Sleepy Joe, Kamala can't win. She doesn't want to tick him and his staff off, plus she wants to take credit for being a "player" in his ill-fated decisions (e.g. she brags about being the last person in the Situation Room when he ordered the US pullout from Afghanistan). So she owns his record too. There's no way anyone can view a vote for Kamala as "turning the page" on the last 3-1/2 years of disastrous policy decisions. Originally Posted by lustylad

If she did fine, why did her handlers keep flailing their arms hysterically in the background to yank her out of the interview and call it a "wrap" early?

If she was doing fine, why didn't they let it continue for the full 60 minutes I set to record on my VCR?

Wtf... Bret was just getting warmed up. He wanted to ask a few questions about Biden/Harris support of Israel when Kamala's handlers pulled the plug and called it quits!

.
Kamala must have been relieved when she realized that by sucking all the oxygen from the room with every recitation she could recall from the "orange man bad" playbook, she could conveniently avoid answering any tough questions about how she planned to pay for endless progressive fantasies by heavily taxing billionaires, and billionaires only!

Her performance on FOX could have been better, but as I said before, she isn't running away from interviews and she wasn't going to change minds of the hardcore FOX doublethink observers.

Those are the folks who know Trump doesn't deserve to be in office as his behavior is unfit, but they just hate Dems cause they've been told to.

Harris should have told Brett to "Go suck a dick", and walk off. Now that would have created some news and votes from the Dems lol.

Baier's interview is over. Harris bombed again. this time .. BIGLY.

Baier didn't let her off. Harris got her titties pinched over it. she got pissy during the interview.

BB = Bret Bair
KH = Kamala Harris

BB: “More than 70% of people tell the country is on the wrong track. They say the country is on the wrong track. If it’s on the wrong track, that track follows 3.5 years of you being Vice President and President Biden being President. That is what they are saying! 79% of them. Why are they saying that if you’re turning the page, you’ve been in office for 3.5 years,” Bret Baier said.

KH: “And Donald Trump has been running for office.”

BB: “But you’ve been the person holding the office.”

KH: “Come on, you and I both know what I’m talking about. You and I both know what I’m talking about!” Harris said.

BB: “Actually, I don’t. What are you talking about…you’re the one in power.”

You can watch it if ya got the stomach for it...

assuming you watched the full interview which i posted if you call that "fine" one wonders what it would take for you to call it a "train wreck" which it was.

Bret Baier asked questions, Harris never answered them.

amusing you are suddenly trying to call out the other candidate's interviews.

stood her ground? you also need to watch the full interview. the woman was argumentative from the first question which was about how many illegals had been allowed in. she refused to answer. no mystery why yes?

you guys claiming Bret Baier is a "Trump surrogate" is laughable and shows just how desperate people are to whitewash this train wreck of an interview was. Originally Posted by The_Waco_Kid

As I said, if the network would treat her the same as donny, it would be conducive to her allotting more time for a depth--n-breadth sit down.

She definitely stood her ground. You didn't hear Bret say it was a lie that videoA(s) were taken out of context. And that would make me "argumentative" when a false narrative is painted and she sure corrected him. As I said, Bret didn't say her "argumentive" reply was wrong.

I thought maybe she would say something in the interview on Fox that was surprising, but after watching it just now, it was the same variation of the same script.

I think that will be her undoing and that is why I think Trump will win this election now because she just refuses to adapt to what people want to hear. I am a never Trump guy and even I am like, "lady, you've been saying the exact same shit over and over and over again. Do you have anything else?" Trump can get away with that. She can't and insulting Trump won't work because a lot of people will vote for him even if they think he is a scumbag because they think they will be better off. Hell, even I know I would be a lot better off financially because of taxes if Trump won, and I don't even want him to win.

i hope you're wrong. she's got key constituencies: women, blacks, Indian Americans, never Trumpers, college educated and up, gays, and ppl either sick of Trump, afraid of him, or both.
i agree though that she needs to go on offense and stop playing defense. this thing is gonna be a white knuckle ride all the way.

Brett Baier will interview her. He’s very fair. It’s a good move by Harris. She’s preaching to the choir, people who are going to vote for her anyway, on CNN and MSNBC. She may change some minds on Fox. Originally Posted by Tiny
