McKinney Police Video - Did anybody see that roll?

I don't think the question is whether the behavior of the kids is exemplary. On the whole, it was not. But it wasn't all that unusual or unexpected when you consider the range of human activity a cop might experience in the line of duty. Some of the kids were very respectful, some where goofing around, some were smart asses. What's new. But when you're a cop, that's what you sign up for -- human behavior in all it's less than perfect forms. You're not getting called to Sunday school picnics.

However good or bad the situation was before hand, it got ten times worse when the asshole cop showed up. The cat fight between the fat white woman and the black gal is unflrtunate, but didn't really amount to a hill of shit in the grand scheme of things. If a cop had witnessed it first hand, I think he'd have been perfectly justified in telling them both to knock it off, separating them, and telling them both to get on they're way. I doubt a good officer would have even written a ticket.

But the cop has to be a calming influence. He can't comed in unhinged rolling around on the ground like Captain Kirk fighting a Klingon. He has to control his emotions no matter what the citizens do. In fact, he especially has to do it when they are ill behaved. Originally Posted by TexTushHog

If they want to act tough, they need to feel the other end of the stick.

I've been knocked down and tackled hundreds of times at that age by bigger guys on the football field. I sure as hell knew better than to mouth off at them off the field. If girls think they can do all the tough guy stuff men do then they can't cry like little babies when things get too rough.
we know what this is really about.. don't we know, they are black and having fun that it, white people don't like it when they see black people having fun it too much for them to handled I guess that why all the black kids where on the ground and all the white folks are just standing their helping the cop, walking around like noting is happen.. If you have kids tell them you LOVE them cause that could have want the wrong why.. sorry but it true so if you don't like it, sorry Originally Posted by BIGBOOTY DALLAS

Yeah, they aint letting alot of fourteen year old girls into Ranger School. lol

And when a grown ass man, much less a cop, puts his hands on a fourteen year old unarmed young lady in a bikini he's going to have a serious problem(s). Especially in this day in age. I mean he sat his fat ass down on her. I see a moving van and for sale sign in his future.

I had really no issue with him clearing leather on the Latino looking guy(adult) in the jorts, white bobby socks, and cig hanging out his mouth that rushed up and whips his lid off like he's got something to do. WTF? He was the only person arrested as we now all have heard. idiot

The pool party was started by a resident, who was allowed to invite two outside friends to the pool, according to the HOA rules, if I remember correctly from the news reports.

This was a complete lack of respect of authority by some of the kids, period. The cops are trained to handle situations like this; an investigation will (hopefully) show if their actions were justified or not.

Those two stupid punks who rushed the cop should be charged with interfering with an officer in the performance of his duty.

Just an unfortunate situation all around...but instead of sensationalizing the one incident of the over-the-top cop, I'm glad the news media got to the bottom and reasons (or tried to) of this incident. More to come, hopefully.
I saw an iterview they did with someone on msnbc and from what i understand a group of older white people started the whole thing. But the only people that were arrested were the black teens. Part of the video shows a white lady fighting with a teen. It takes two to fight thise kids werent fighting each other.

Also does anyone know the law i thought if your an adult and you strike someone under age your in big doo doo.
4 main points
1 never argue with cops they have guns and even if your right you cant win
2 if your a cop and you body slam a teenage girl in a swim suit crying for mommy your in trouble
3 if your a cop and you shop up to a fight and only arrest one of the groups fighting well thats not right
4 it really stings when you shower and get soap inside your p hole.

Can we all agree on those
Two things stand out to me.
From what I can tell the original fight was between a 19 year old black girl that confronted a 40 year old white woman, that was insulting a younger black girl. The 19 year old admonished the 40 year old white lady for doing so. Then the 40 year old white lady hit the 19 year old black girl. Some have said the black girl should not have been upset for being call a Ni**er or whatever she was called.
The thing I am hearing is the young black girl the cop was throwing around deserved it for voicing her opinion.

So basically if you are black you should shut up ? How is that not racist the 19 year old lives there she was not a intruder she had every right to be there along with some of the other kids that were detained.

Second point is how did the cop know what kids belonged and which did not he originally detained all and only the black boys then lost it on a black girl. As for the rest of the Police force they seem to act as they should have.
I am not defending the kids that done something wrong but are you telling me each and every black kid was uninvited and every white kid was?

I have the utmost respect for Police officers but I demand they earn that respect! Originally Posted by slingblade

The young girl in this case has zero common sense, because mouthing off to a man with a gun is the dumbest thing you could possibly do. If you have a problem with how things were handled, then go to your lawyer/report the problem. Don't fucking mouth off. Worst shit you could possibly do.

And I'm not saying that what the police officer did in this case wasn't out of line; it was. He clearly was annoyed, lost his temper, and used somewhat excessive force (IMO). That being said, the girl brought it on herself, as did all the other kids by A. Running away from the police officers when they showed up, and B. Refusing to cooperate with the police officers in general. If you look closely at the video, he was bringing her to force her to sit down or to arrest her (for who knows what reason, but as we all know, we can be arrested for anything), and when she tries to resist, that's when she gets brought down into the ground. Dumb kid being dumb.

In the instance of drawing his gun, he was fully justified in drawing his gun. He was attempting to subdue someone who was non-cooperative, while someone came from his blind side and tried to interfere. That's 100% easy to justify.

Id say that there are two issues to note:
1. The "kids" putting aside the race, were stupid and unruly and got what they deserved and what they asked for ... period
They or we could put the blame on others actions but the truth is that the kids are responsible for their own ...

2. The Cop being a supervisor acted very unprofessional ...
Since the beggining, I think he got embarrassed bc he fell trying to run after someone ...
I cant believe how he got out of control ... there was no difference between the mob and him ...
Pulling the gun was way too much although he was being threatened... The maze or baton would have suffice

I really expect punishment for the ones involved:
The kids and the officer on leave ...

My 2 cents

I Here's an interview with a white father and daughter who live in the neighborhood, the daughter was also at the party.

Where are the "good cops" people talk about? I saw at least three different cops, and none of them stopped the guy who threw the scantily clad 14 year old girl on the ground. If most cops are good then shouldn't have at least 1 of the cops been a good one?

Also, the barrel-rolling cop who sexually assaulted the 105 lbs girl in a bikini is a police "trainer", he trains the police, he's not some "bad apple", he's a typical cop.

There's no way for me to fully understand what exactly happened but I will just say this:

Sgt Tackleberry should go back to Police Academy

Well, heck. I made a statement about 20 minutes ago and must NOT have pushed the print button. Well, crap-o-roonie.

After writing a response, which didn't get published, I was on Slate and found this article, which I thought was compelling.

I don't like to get into this crap (which what this is). I think some bad ass kids were doing some bad ass stuff. I have an HOA pool too, and I know to avoid it the first week summer. Dumb ass kids trying to do bad ass stuff.

As for color, I don't give a damn what color you are. What I saw was that dude taking down the girl and two other dumb ass kids coming from behind him while engaged with the girl. Why the fuck would you walk behind a cop and say something that would want him to pull his gun out?

I feel bad for cops because they have to make a split second choice on how to handle a matter. To fire him? No way, nobody was shot, and he didn't hit anyone. For the ones saying fire him, become a cop. Easy to talk shit when you don't live it.
