Prebooking with a deposit?

I make a lot of money and don't even need to work as much as others. As you can see I spend a lot of time on this frickin SHMB because I have a lot of time on my hands. I can afford to travel anytime I want. No need to have an attitude. Having a bad day? Go and chillax and have a cocktail Originally Posted by Naomi4u

But my opinion on it still remains the same. I have international clients, I have traveled, and get on average an overnight every month and have never had the need to collect a deposit.

You've made it very clear in this threAD all about your practices though in great detail. I tend to stick to the KISS method.. by keeping it simple. All the gent needs to know with me is how much to pay, me what time to be there, and all of the rest is fun and kinky games. I don't feel the need to make any serious hobbyist jump through hoops before he sees my face... afterwards is a different matter. So excuse my tone about it the first time but my position is just the same... RIDICULOUS.

If you indeed make enough money to cover your expenses, I don't understand the need to ask a guy to do it. If you're traveling on his behalf and his only, sure... I'd ask for a deposit as a show of good faith also. But to prebook and deposit a whole trip through every appointment.. something's not adding up.

And if as many guys as you guys say do this, and you're not a pornstar or a Playboy model (well known and sought after), and really kinda ordinary, well then I guess there's a sucker born everyday. Just my .02
The only time that I request a deposit is if I am having to travel a long distance and that person is the only one appt that I will have.I will say, that I have only done this once and it worked out well.Other than that,it's not something that is very common.

Nope Not a pornstar and I'm not ordinary. In fact, I am extraordinary that is why there are men willing to pay top dollar to be with me and a lot of them pay deposits to secure my time. If that is not the case with you .. then that is how YOU choose to work. If you think it is RIDICULOUS then that is you. We simply do NOT conduct business the same way. You do not have to be a pornstar or movie star to be extraordinary and just because one pays a deposit of any kind doesn't make them a "sucker". Sorry you feel that way...

Another thing is that I did NOT say I was doing this. I ASKED a question. I also stated several times that I might stick to what I have been doing and just accept deposits for overnights and weekend excursions. I've been doing this for well over 2 years. Noone can tell me that a man won't pay a deposit because they have and they do. I simply asked a question about touring and if guys would pay a deposit to secure a time with the lady. I do not require a deposit for anyone to see me while I am at home unless it's an overnight or I'm flying out to their city. The deposit was meant to combat NCNS and last minute cancellations. Even if it is a $10 or $20 dollar deposit so be it as long I have something that secures their time with me.. that is what I am asking. This is not an attempt to defraud people. I know ladies that charge $20 to screen their clients. Do I think that is RIDICULOUS? Of course but what works for one won't always work for all.

Maybe you did not read my initial post to you but noone is asking ANYONE to cover their traveling expenses. See the cities in my signature? All expenses will be paid by me. You somehow assume that I posted this "threAD" to get people to pay for my expenses and you are wrong. This "threAD" was not about me. I gave a scenario and asked the guys a question because I was THINCKING of this. It is better to ask advice than to go ahead and do. This is why this board exists. I hope that you understand now that I was not asking for advances but I asked what people thought about the idea. I made a joke with my friend Wayward and I guess people took it as if this was something I was requiring while on tour and it's not. You can disagree with my views all you want but do not insult me or make assumptions especially when you have not read the thread.

Do whatever works for you sweetie. You asked so I gave my opinion and didn't think it was going to turn into a pissing match. You ladies have a great money making day!! And fellas get laid!

As I stated in my earlier post...In Major Metropolitan cities such as Manhattan, Chicago and DC, I require a deposit for all appointments that are overnights and/or 3 hours or more , (a 3hr appt with me in NYC is 1,200) so yes, I require a deposit for that, reason being is because I don't always get to see every client that wants to see me, and so I turn down quite a few because I'm already booked, so if I had a 3hr booking that was worth 1,200 and he cancelled on me last minute, not only am I loosing out on 1,200, but also have turned down a client who wanted that same time slot, so by having a deposit, if I get cancelled on last minute, at least I am not getting completely screwed...

It's really not that hard of a concept to grasp, hotels/ some restaurants use the same system....You book your reservation in advance, and they have a cancellation policy, if you cancel last minute, they will charge your credit card...because just like us, they have a business to run as well....
gotcha

I don't see the need for other people to give a flying flip about how an INDEPENDENT chooses to run her business. If I wanted a pimp, I would have one.

If someone wants to risk being screwed so be it. Those are the alerts I just shake my head at thinking, "WOW you're the stupid one for trusting a guy you never met to do what he said he would do." I have 8 to 10 days a MONTH to work in this business, so I would be an absolute moron not to cover my azz when doing so.

Like you Valerie, I have over 100 reviews not just on ECCIE lol, to confirm just how legit I am. I also have 3-4 guys who basically support me when I can't work along with another income, so I don't feel the need to be so easily available to just anyone. If a guy is offended by the way I run MY business, obviously he can see someone else and so can I.

I don't bother with deposits when touring because it's just a pain for me not having the green dot account. I can send them, but don't take them. I simply book longer dates first and the hours are the last to get an appt. Am I rude about it? No, but I won't be told what to do. I don't see 3 guys a freaking day so OF COURSE it makes sense to book a 4 hour over an hour...duh.
Haven't read the thread, so no idea what's been said and what hasn't. I require deposits from newbies who have no references, and I imagine if I start touring, I'll do something much like what the OP stated.

Some newbies are weirded out or leery of the deposit thing, and screening stops right there, as I would never push anyone to do something they are uncomfortable with. But after a little research into me and exactly how the deposit is done, some are perfectly okay with it. I've never had a problem with any of the gents that did send me a deposit, no NCNS, no bad behavior. I think they kind of understand that since they are newbies, I'm taking a big chance on seeing them, so it's not so terrible of me to ask them to take a chance on me as well. Plus I make sure to show them evidence of my stellar rep just so they know I'm not some scam artist.

I imagine this thread has a lot of gents that say they would never do a deposit, and that is their prerogative, and their right. But there are guys that are fine with it and totally understand the concept, is all I'm trying to say. Don't let the naysayers run you off from the idea of deposits ladies, if you are considering it. If you've got a good rep, there are plenty who will opt in.

Don't forget HOT!
So you're browsing escort ads and realize there's a new lady coming into town. Her rate is $325 an hour but $250 if you prebook with a $100 deposit. She states on her website that prebooking with a deposit gurantees your time with her while she's in town and if she were to cancel that you will be fully refunded. Would you go for the lower rate and prebook or would you wait till she's in town and pay the $300.

Just curious.
