Oh and less I forget to say, YES every single one of those so called protesters attempting to enter/ destroy a Federal Building, assaulting police, should have been shot dead and if the shooting of Babbitt was justified on the grounds of "illegally entering", then YES shooting someone breaking into a store to steal, should be shot the second they enter illegally. J - I was not military - what is ROE??

And - Yes - teh DPST party has made it a war for teh Freedom of America!

ROE = rules of engagement. Aka when you can engage the enemy without ending up in Leavenworth.
Add yr to those who hate representative democracy, and Equality for all under a rule of law.

Sad!

Ashley Babbit was callously murdered - an unarmed woman shot in teh head at close range - by a Capitol police officer who is protected from consequences of his murder by political force of a subverted DOJ and corrupt criminal fiden administration.

You are a prime example of the hypocrisy.

My original response on this thread was in regards to why we hold one group to one set of standards and other groups to other sets of standards-- depending where they all are on the spectrum.

I had issues with the protests that went from being peaceful to being lawless. I also have issues with the protestors that chose to storm a secure facility.

I'm also a firm believer in the mantra of "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes". If you don't go around doing things you KNOW are against the law and could result in injury or death... guess what won't happen. That applies whether we're talking Michael Brown or Ashlie Babbitt.
It's a tragedy she died. You have a rabid crowd, about to break down a door that's between them and the Congressmen and staffers. Maybe Mike Pence is back there somewhere, the guy they say they want to hang from a tree. One of the crowd is yelling "Fuck the Blue." Another crawls through a window, and to the cop it looks like she's the first of many who are about to come pouring into the hallway. So he shoots her. Well, shit happens.

I definitely don't believe the officer deserves criminal punishment. Maybe he doesn't even deserve to be disciplined or moved to a position behind a desk. He was doing his job. Perhaps that's just me though. I don't believe the National Guardsmen at Kent State deserved prosecution either. Originally Posted by Tiny

The bigger glaring difference was the response of Trump himself... who declared that there needed to be "total domination" over the protesters and rioters back in June-- but who delayed even deploying the guard in January.

I honestly don't think its an issue with the Capitol Police-- but rather an issue of who is giving the orders and when.

I have made my POV clear as to the illegality of teh protstors who stormed the Capitol - and the need for prompt and Constitutional due Process for teh accused - which the DPST party dominated party/house adn Senate judiciary committees have refused to enact with their subverted DOJ. Protestors are already guilty upon accusation - and incarcerated without benefit of bail or due process.

Now - DPST party - teh Democratic-Progressive-socialist-totalitarian party - the Acronym DPST describes the party perfectly as to their political and marxist POV.

AOC, squad, jayapal and progressives all have their roots of their beliefs in marxist dogma and ideology.

And that's just this thread. Truth be told, you can't post anything without name calling, it's in your DNA, it's who you are, a bully.

Comment - Please go back and show me where I have insulted individuals in such name-calling fashion .

I don't do that - carefully
If you consider the acronym DPST - an accurate party description / marxist - also an accurate party description - or liberal cultists - also accurate party description insulting asoffensive - compared to the liberal cultists invective showered on Conservatives daily in this forum - well - Perhaps You should look in the mirror when You use the word 'Hypocrite"
As Noirman has threatened - to RTM my every post - in an attempt at bullying, intimidation, and censorship - I am fine with that

She got exactly what she deserved. If y’all truly believe the bullshit you type then there’s truly no help for you. Truth be told many more of them shoulda been shot down before they ever entered the capitol. It’s a sad state of affairs when supposedly (and I use that in the most generous way) intelligent people somehow convince themselves that people can attack the capitol while Congress is in session, fight their way in using flag poles, bear spray and likely other objects, break windows and force their way through doors, fight the officers that were there to protect elected officials, and not be killed in the process. The only reason you even type this ridiculous stuff is because these people are a part of hour tribe. .

Anyone typing that crazy bullshit is guilty of stupidity in its highest form. Be proud of your continued ignorance. Well it’s actually not ignorance because that would mean it’s likely not intentional. Let’s just leave it at be proud of your stupidity.

And Oeb before you get to typing, just know I’m going to report your every post. And I mean every post. Little triangle here I come.

Red triangle pressed. I’m looking out for ya Oeb. I’ll just keep pressing away.

Actually Babbit was killed while attempting to breach a window within the Capitol as other insurrectionists were trying to breach a door. I’m pretty sure she knew she was committing a crime at the time and chose to do it anyway. What she likely thought was that she would have no consequences for her actions and she was wrong. In a way she got exactly what she likely believed in. I’m sure at some point over the summer she thought that Rigtenhouse was in the right and likely advocated for harsher treatment of protesters in Washington and Oregon. Hell I would the shocked if she didn’t advocate for military to attack protestors. She just didn’t think it applied to her. I could be wrong on that but I’m sure if I scrubbed the internet for her rants I’d see some of what I assume to be correct.

She likely actually got exactly what she advocated for. Poetic JUSTICE was served hot and full of lead.
