Does being asked this offend you guys?? And if so, what's the best way to ask??

I'm sure there is some extra charge for tea bagging a provider with "Shweddy Balls"....

It's summer in Houston. Showering before is common courtesy.

My thought is that anything that makes me more pleasant to be close to is a good thing. YMMV is the golden rule in this thing of ours. If you're too dumb to freshen up, you shouldn't bitch when you get bad service because she doesn't want her face near your junk.
I always request my clients to uh "wash up" in the restroom before beginning. Some guys have seemingly taken offense to this but it's for my own peace of mind even if you did shower at home haha... Is there a POLITE and non offensive way to ask?!?! Lol

You never want to make a client feel uncomfortable. My rule of thumb is the following: if the smell is unbearable don't see him again. Plain and simple. I had a client who wanted a specific activity but I honestly wanted to throw up I felt like I was going to faint....... I dealt with it and he came back HOWEVER I saw him a second time and realized that he's just a guy who doesn't care at all about his smell down there.. I blocked him and I'm sure I'm not the first girl..

If you insist on a shower for the guy, you should shower with him to assure him you are clean, as well. It's not a one way street. Originally Posted by Oralist

The fat chicks.... Need to follow their own advice.

My place is ALWAYS nice, clean, comfortable, welcoming... I ALWAYS keep disposable toothbrushes, listerine mouthwash, paper cups, clean towels, fresh wash rags, deodorant, cutips, fresh linens and an assortment of men's body wash... Also cold water mints/sweets ect... I'll usually ask if you need to use the bathroom. And, I take the lead and wash my hands as soon as I walk in. I at least expect that if you're going to be playing with my vayjay. Now, I will say, that if you do not pass my sniff/hygene test I'll definitely let you know and kindly ask you to jump in the shower. As far as me being clean, it's my job to always be clean. Besides that, that's just how I am. A germophobe that sometimes goes overboard but I'd rather be that way than to get complaints about having stinky breath or worse... We all know what we are here for, so guys, please remember this. Also, I would not be offended if I was asked to shower... I completely understand but I'd expect you to join me. (-:
I think having these things at your incall are definitely a MUST! Believe me, the session will go great if we all had just a little common sense and good hygene... Just my 2¢'s

I agree! But I actually had one provider that did not want people in her bathroom.
She expected you to shower and then come straight to her place. If you needed to use the toilet.... she expected me to stop and use it before I got there. But I told her I had to make 2 stops and with this summer heat and humidity I just wanted to take a quick shower and I did not need to use the restroom until I got there.
With her attitude and yapping dog I didnt stay there very long. She did text me and said she was having a bad day and would give me a discount on my next visit.
But I never responded.
There is one provider I see that has a shower available an assorted toiletries items.
She has things to drink in the frigerator and nice chocolate snacks.
She actually makes you feel like a welcomed guest. Originally Posted by universalenergy

There's really no polite way to ask a guy to clean up if he's already showered within the hour. Kammye said awhile back it's just her "policy". Knowing that going in takes the awkwardness out of the situation.
Counter question, how can you pre-assume a gent is not clean just because you didn't witness the shower? And how can we assume you are clean not having witnessed yours?
Rather sticky wicket wouldn't you say?
And... when does the clock start? Walking in the door or out of the shower? The concept raises a lot of questions. Originally Posted by H.Hardhat

This may be a break in the flow of discussion but it's a point brought to my attention recently. During the winter months I'll grow a seasonal beard. When I shaved it off my ATF was notably pleased. Now I come to find out that beards can retain odors to the point it's repulsive at times. I washed my beard just like I would wash my bare face with a quick rinse of fresh water. But facial hair, like all hair is porous and absorbs body oils and sweat. And we all know sweat stinks. Just a note so the gents will know, as you jump out of the shower after thoroughly scrubbing all your body parts, did you thoroughly wash your beard/mustache as well? That could make or break a session and you not even know it.

I usually keep a little bottle of soap and a rag on the edge of the sink in bathroom already ready for them when they arrive...

Just an FYI moment, you ladies know that guys are ignorant as to how the female mind works, right? Personally one of the reasons I hobby rather than date. It was stated in the OP that this was for her "piece of mind". Not that the gents show up dirty or smelly. Another poster admitted to being a bit of a germaphobe. Ya'll see strangers with various standards of hygiene, and tend to group all clients in the lower bracket for your own "piece of mind". Example: Yesterday some 'tard show up with smely balls, so now to avoid that unpleasantness all clients need to wash up before a session. I get it, and it makes sense.
Now that summer is here and you can break a sweat just walking to your vehicle, it makes perfect sense to jump in for a quick rinse just to wash off the drive.
We all want every session to go as pleasantly as possible, I think we can all agree on that. If a quick shower helps put your mind at ease, then I highly recommend it and will start to add that as part of my repertoire as well.
As long as that time is not part of the season I think its a great idea. Ya'll gotta agree, the prices paid in the hobby at $300+/hr can only be found in the top 5% of the civie market. And a 10 min shower runs about $50 bucks at that rate. Guys hate a clock watcher at those prices... Let's just be fair about this and have fun.
