JFK would have a very difficult time fitting into today's Democrat Party. Originally Posted by Jackie S

Kennedy would still be a democrat. He'd never be able to suffer the rubes that make up the GOP these days.

Perhaps. Maybe the press coverage is just more controlled.

He would be right in the middle, where there really is no survivable ground in today's political climate. Oddly enough, in retrospect he was probably more conservative than Nixon turned out to be (wage and price controls, EPA, off the gold standard, etc.).

What's amazing to me is how the Teawipes term ANYBODY to the left of them as lefties or centrists.

Today's Democratic Party stands for the same thing as the one of yesteryear... Only back then most of the Southern conservatives (Dixiecrats) hadn't yet switched parties. So they needed to be elected by disenfranchised minorities and had to campaign accordingly.

Kennedy would be shoulder to shoulder with Obama. In fact, had he lived, we probably would never have had Nixon, Reagan or definitely neither Bush. Probably not Carter either.

Jimmy Carter is a fine person. It is a shame he wasn't reelected. He has done a lot of good in the world.

Jimma was way too intellectual for the Beltway bunch and they smacked him down. Reagan knew how to play them and did a masterful job.

JFK was a Rock Star. He had a hot wife and still fucked everything that moved. He was a stud. We now have this dickhead Obama. We have gone down hill. And he cut taxes.

JFK was a rock star, classy wife and he fucked everything that moved. Plus, he cut taxes. A Democrat everyone should love.
