I have to side with texanfan. To cancel for nails...that's pretty lame and I would be pretty pissed as well. I understand providers have a personal life to but if something pops up all you have to is let us know. Most people if given advance notice would understand.

The humorous part to me about this tread is the fact that I was honest in the reason that I gave because I don't believe in lying to anyone about anything. It just part of who I am. This would not have started had I lied and said I was taking my 3 year old (which I do not have) to the emergency room.

As far as the ring goes. I DID tell the indian at the desk that i found a ladies ring and i left my number but not the ring with him. I got a phone call last night from an indan woman with bad English claiming the ring was hers but she couldnt describe it. So i know what the indian at the front desk would have done with it.

I see where both sides screwed up. To keep it short and sweet, cancelling without an emergency isn't cool. However she is still a lady and using abusive language toward her is just going to make you look bad to all the others here. I understand completely and would be as mad, but I promise this isn't the best way to handle the situation. I mean nothing but respect for both of you in saying that.
