Saw him and his group The Ravens, many times at the Hideaway across from the Chevy Axle Plant. Back then there were dozens of great bars and lounges in Buffalo and all had bands with Live Music. Heck, we wouldn't settle for less!

I remember seeing him at the Hideaway in 1962. They had all age concerts on Saturdays, I think. Sandy Konikoff on drums, before he departed for another planet.

They used to play the Inferno then later at Club Lakewood in Youngstown NY, north of Lewiston.
