But frankly, players lobbying for calls doesn’t bother me. I’m much more focused on the quality of the game they play before the whistle. Coaches complain. Players complain. Announcers complain. Fans complain. The league makes a LTM report public that shows who crewed up and how. Scrutiny of officiating is just part of the game.
I still haven’t heard why it bothers everybody so when players react to calls or express an opinion about the officiating. Anyone care to explain why the guys who actually play are the only ones who don’t get a say or shouldn't have an opinion?
