Before you start talking shit, you might want to study the U.S. Constitution, although I realize as an Obaminable Worshipper that was not necessary for you beginning in 2009. "Studying" takes reading comprehension skills. I get that!
Just as bit of reality therapy ... if by some unlawful action Moore was "expelled" by the Senate .. what would be the result? Here: The Alabama Governor would appoint his replacement, and then another special election would be announced!
Moore comes home a "hero" of the voters (if by some slim chance he got expelled ILLEGALLY) AND the next Republican Senatorial Candidate would beat the Dems' best shot again! BTW: That's not a "prediction" ... that's a likely scenario.
(Of course the Good Governor would not set the Special Election until Moore's complaint about the illegal expulsion was litigated through the courts to the SCOTUS! Care to speculate on how that would come out?)
Do you also believe speeding is not against the law unless the cops say it is?

the senate can expel members for any reason. last time they did this was in 1861-1862 when Senate expelled 14 democrats from the senate for supporting the confederacy. 1 was actually reversed posthumously.
there have been a bunch of expulsion proceedings that resulted in no expulsion. there was a proceeding that caught my eye which appeared to be similar to Judge Moore's case but in a different context.
1893
William N. Roach Democratic North Dakota Not expelled Charged with embezzlement; Senate determined that charges were too far in the past
this is going to get messy, if they follow thru this expulsion.
moore wins, and gets sworn in.
0. charges are filed and expulsion proceedings begin
1a. senate does not expel him -- charges are too far in the past.
1b. senate expels him.
2. new election has to be filed again
3. reappoints Luther Strange to Senate
4. Moore runs for Senate again.
5. Moore wins election.
6. Senate expels him again.
7. Moore takes the senate to court.
8. Court sides with Moore' - senate has to seat him.
Yes, that scenario happened on the House side.
