He was a man. I enjoyed hearing him give speeches as far as the content and delivery. As for violence generally it is not condoned in our society, but violence is often a response to violence and therefore justified.

A good and long time friend of mine "marched" with Rev King and was beaten with gasoline hoses wrapped in barbed wire by the police and left in a ditch along the road. The other marchers didn't tend to him, but a pickup of KKK picked him up and took him to a hospital. Until he died he wore those scars on his back. I've seen similar scars from horrendous burns after "recovery."

Apparently, the current group of CommunistSocialistNaziLiberals perceive that violence is acceptable and consider it "peaceful protest." That's good as far as I am concerned, because then they will understand and accept the consequences. King should not have been executed.

Everyone remembers Byrd (except for V man) and his 14 hours of speaking. Remember his dog Billy?
