Wizard, you come on an internet board and impugn a whole group of people, most of whom you don’t know and have never dealt with personally, calling us all racist and xenophobic. Don’t get me wrong, you’re entitled to your opinion and I’m not particularly bothered by your characterization, but don’t you see the irony in it? I realize that the younger “woke” generation probably doesn’t think much beyond “racism bad” (and similarly for xenophobia, homophobia sexism etc). But WHY are they bad? It’s precisely because they all involve doing exactly what you did — denigrating whole groups of people en masse without any personal experience with them. Originally Posted by Smarty1

It literally kills people. Pittsburgh is one of the worst cities in the country as far as racism is concerned, especially towards black people. But don't take my word for it. Pitt/UPMC released a study on how "bad" and deadly racism is in Pittsburgh last year compared to the rest of the country.
But we're getting off course here. This isn't about racism. This is about how shitty people are from Pittsburgh. The other cities mentioned don't have the problem that Pittsburgh has because those cities are not filled with Yinzers.
