Note to Amber's kin at ASPD, as giddy as WTF sounds right now, he'd probably cut a check to fund the entire new website...... Originally Posted by atlcomedy

Think about it...how did they get Al Capone? Was it for murder? racketeering? loan sharking? etc... Nope, he spent forever in a Federal prison for tax evasion. The way to avoid the same for someone on this board is to set-up a LLC, post all income through the LLC, pay yourself a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pay check for consulting services. Also pay the LLC taxes and your personal taxes.

Now you have a legitimate source of income that you can produce via LLC paycheck stubs to get loans (car, house, etc.), claim a legitimate tax return (so you avoid the Al Capone issue), and also head off some LE issues... When you claim your time is for this or that and the LLC supports it your risk goes down. Your credit history improves and you are a solid tax paying citizen.

Think about it from the same point of view that many use to promote legal, taxable use of marijuana, etc... If you say you are doing one thing, be upfront and honest about the income from it. Who's to argue if an extra 40 per visit doesn't get posted as long as it doesn't lead to a lifestyle beyond what's report (as was discussed here?). LLC's are so cheap to set-up and the deductions OY Vay....

Does the bank alert you when/if they fill out these forms? I made a huge transfer (over 20k) to London in October. How do you find out if they do not tell you? Originally Posted by Nicole Preston

my 10 cents...my 2 cents is free...

ps...i have been familiar with these types of reports for quite a few years now...i must know the rules and regulations in regards to these...
Anything over 10k does require the bank to fill out a form notifying the IRS. Same holds true if you win 10k or more at a casino. Also, large regular deposits will trigger a notification, too. The bank software is quite sophisticated and most of it automated with little or no human intervention.

Note: The Patriot Act added amounts 5k and up to be reported to the DHS. They only care if you are part of a terrorist cell or funding one.

Claiming it as gifts will require you to name names if you are audited. File taxes and claim enough to cover your lifestyle. Fuck them only enough to get the job done ( kinda like you do us! ).

Your best bet is to give the money to a dead beat loser boyfriend like me!

So basically what I said a couple of days ago much more succinctly in the 5th post of this thread:

And as I think, as was the case this afternoon with you & new guy, it wasn't that he was wrong & you were right, but kind of talking across each other....he even if he acted like an authority after a day or two of registering here

What Happened?

The notariety of one's bank deposit levels has very little to do with the original question.... I think there's room for much valuable discussion of the original topic!!
