The colors now match the message.

One of my favorite book titles: If You See a Guru in the Middle of the Road, Run Him Over.

Translation: People that insist they know what you should do should be avoided at all costs. Life has no roadmap.

Good luck to you, OP. Originally Posted by JohnnyYanks

I do not thinck TheOriginalDannie was referring to you, but to the fucktards like me replying.

Like TheOriginalDannie did confirm that long term relationships do happen, but are rare because relationships are hard work. Basically it comes down to if you are not willing to put in the effort ... do not bother to lead each other on. Originally Posted by pyramider

So many times I keep trying to convince myself that I can be successful in both my relationship at home and my relationships with the gentlemen hobbyist. I am not sure that its going to work? My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over two yrs. The journey walked is more than most could have concord in a 40 yr marriage. Not exaggerating , its true. However, this lifestyle has taken a real big toll on our diminishing hearts. I don't want to answer my own question , but maybe I just did. Any doctors of love out there that has a solution? Everyone I see is my GF at least thats what they think.
I try not to get involved because of the issues it can cause ... It can be really stressful on a relationship when you have to leave constantly and they know why ... Being single is better for me ... No unnesessary drama ...

Marriages and other long term relationships do work. I was in one. Obviously great open communication and trust are essential along with making your SO your priority but it also helps if you actually get turned on by your SO being with others. I got to watch my wife make passionate love to men and women and it just made me want her more sexually. It was a total aphrodisiac.

To take an example from TV fiction: In an episode of Friends (so many years ago now) one of the characters is in the hospital having a baby. One of her femal friends is trying to flirt with the really handsome Gynocologist, and not getting any response from him. He explains thas after looking at lady parts all day, he sust wants to go home and have a beer! Originally Posted by ICU 812

I would feel a certain type of way laying on my back getting drilled and sucking different "foreign" d#@^$ and then coming home to someone laying in my bed waiting on me to f&ck and suck them for free sorry. You've gotta understand that by you being in this business it gives him room to see other people unless you're okay with that. With that being said, if he truly loved you then he would do what it takes to keep you out of the business for good.

And why can't the OP have a boyfriend if she wants? Maybe they just need to spend a bit more time defining the parameters of their relationship is all.

This is the US of A - you can have whatever you want. If you're willing to go get it.
