Someone is probably going to jump down my throat for dipping my toe into the conversation here, but perhaps some outside perspective and questions are in order. I'm not going to quote anyone because it's been a long thread.

Question #1: Why are either party in the limelight?
Hottentot Venus has no reviews, nor any activity to suggest that she is a verified provider and not Law Enforcement.
LexusLover has no reviews, nor any activity to suggest that he is a verified customer, and not Law Enforcement.

Why are either party in the limelight - with any credibility - since both are vocal....onlookers?

Question #2: Why is the pot calling the kettle black?
Venus, this will probably earn me your eternal enmity - but I'd like you to answer me anyway. If your showcase is actually you...you're a big lady. Not morbidly big, but large enough to break someone in half if you tripped and fell on top of them. Now, I have no idea what LexieinHouston looks like - but why would you spotlight her as an "old fat whale" when....well, you see my point? If a young, attractive and petite girl wanted to make an older, less athletic provider feel old and unwanted, that'd be a viable attack profile. This seems heinously illogical, and I'm curious what brought it on?

Question #3: What's with the SNL comment?

I don't think it is fair to want it both ways. If you wish to post an alert in the private section and avoid any potential questioning of motive or conclusion, then do so. If you choose to post it in a public section, then anyone and everyone will be commenting. Some people will try and poke holes in the story as a way of seeing if it "holds water" much like happens in a court of law where both sides of the story get told and we the jury get to decide what is truth and what is not. Safety is an issue for all of us and if a lady were to make a "false" report then she would be a risk to us the guys. So I think it is entirely valid to question any report.

As to wanting to post it in a public place to protect potential non-members of the form. It really isn't important to me. Membership has its privileges. If you are so worried about non-members then by all means encourage them to join. I personally don't want every hooker to be part of this community - I would hope that only the most professional ladies with the highest standards would be part of this and the rest would be eliminated and remain on BP.

I have read many alerts that started out sounding solid only upon questioning by the community did the truth come out that the man or woman had in fact fabricated most of the story. In the end the truth does tend to come out and though the process may be unpleasant for you to watch and make you feel adversarial - I think in the end the truth is what we all really want and generally that can only be had by hearing both sides of the story - because 9 times out of 10 the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

It eventually came out, but he wasn't questioning the validity of the story or the claim, he was haranguing. He doesn't do that with male members, in fact he encourages their posts, no matter how inflammatory and how little evidence there is to point to the contrary.

Do you know how dangerous it is to accuse a provider to be a robber of money or services? Those are the things retaliation and vengeance are made of. Does he have a problem with that? No, he has a problem with a random fucktard who is not even a member here being accused of being LE.
