I would say Conroe since I'm up that way, but monkey county is no place to play.
Our boys are way too board.
Same goes for Walker County (Huntsville).

I didn't see the band until the eighties, Lowell was gone and they had the singer from Pure Prairie League fill in. He did a great job because he was trying to sound like Lowell. The "Let It Roll" album had just come out and they did put on a great show.
