Depurefymii,

The Local Staff has been lenient on this topic.

Had the Moderator strictly followed the Guidelines to include the Image Standards Guidelines and the Signature Line Guidelines, there would have been a great number of people enjoying a 7 day break from Eccie.

As of September 2019, Eccie no longer permits advertising.

Posting a Link to a Providers Web-Site or an ad found somewhere on the Internet is the same as posting the Ad and is a Violation of the Guidelines.

This is why we no longer have the Weekly and Weekend Update Forums any longer.

The Image Standards Guidelines applies to all images or links to images on Eccie, including avatars.

Posting a Link to a Provider's ad often results in the display of an image that does not comply with the Eccie Guidelines.

This is much the same as when a Porn Link is posted this results in an Image Violation Violation.

  • You have been told multiple times by the Local Moderator that these Links are not allowed.
  • Your have been told by one of the Global Moderators that these Links are not allowed.
  • Now an Administrator has posted to tell you that BOTH of the Staff Members were/are correct.
The choice is yours, Comply with the Guidelines and Guidance provided by the Staff or Don't.

If this is due to uneven moderation, then the mods need to take some ownership of the issue. Either enforce the rules or don’t.

That’s a thread not a ad and the pictures are approved ECCIE imagines that are in her gallery

There are several threads that explain this (sticky’s).

Ads and ISO’s are also explained, both are not allowed.

So if the link doesn’t directly include nudity, rates, or services it is okay?

I’m seriously just asking for clarification.

Eccie has always been a board for swapping info, not an ad platform. It just feels like you guys are dinging someone who is using the board for what it is meant for while allowing someone to do exactly what the board is trying to prevent because they do it “within the rules”.

Just seems ass backwards to me, that’s all.

She said she is visiting Pittsburgh. That is not an ad. This site made it clear last year that ads are no longer allowed, and encouraged posting in coed as that will point folks to your profile which contains contact info.

The site 100% was an ad platform and MANY providers relied on it in other cities. You are right about that in the Pittsburgh section though. That’s really the only reason I’m here to comment, because I know how huge this platform is in many other areas.

People are mad at the wrong folks. The site is trying to stay live so you all can share your hofo. Call your senators and representatives and anyone else who can do a damn thing. Fosta/Sesta, Earn It act and many other plays being made to take away our freedoms.

These bills and laws affect all humans, SWrs are the low hanging fruit. But we are the ones who will persevere because remember that silly little Supply and Demand thingy.

You honestly are truly lucky this site is still here.

This has been explained many times There are more details in the sticky’s and Dreamgurrl gave a very good summary.

These are the new guidelines and agree with them or not this is what the site owners have asked us to enforce. Please remember this is a national site and must follow the laws of all the states.

Thanks for your understanding
