It's simple economics, if you want to spend it then you will, but if you don't then you won't. There's no reason to complain about those $200/half-hour rates because the only thing that will change it is if you don't buy it.

That same hot cheerleader type in a major city charges double if not triple the price...for the hour and they don't offer half hours...it's totally beneath them.
