Things I have learned:
In life, you get to choose how you handle things when adversity challenges you. These choices determine your reputation. Most of the time, it is the choices of the individual which determine the individual's reputation.
Choice 1. You can be classy, adult, professional, and own your mistakes.
OR
Choice 2. You can be classless, juvenile, unprofessional, and not take responsibility for your own mistakes.
IMO, Montaigne was too generous and too quick to forgive.
IMO, all the "bullshit" comments were probably given because the family emergency
excuse sounds like a feeble attempt to cover for classless, juvenile, unprofessional, irresponsible behavior which cost your client TIME and MONEY.
The worst part of all this is your horrible attitude and lack of consideration for your client.
Try Choice 2 for a while and see if life is not easier, simpler, and more profitable. Lack of communication by any service provider is generally bad for business.
LB and UC can both tell me to butt out or take a hike or whatever. Neither of your opinions matter to any sane reasonable person on this board. Especially me.
