The conundrum for the liberal, if it is so important for Russia to lose then they should willing to do ANYTHING to support Ukraine including US ground troops. That is what you want. How do you negotiate a deal when neither side has given you the authority to negotiate on their behalf? Is Trump authorized by Zelensky to give all of Ukraine to Putin? If not, no deal ever gets done by DJT because that is the only deal that Putin's evil ass will probably accept.
