Outdated photos & disappointment questions... should a client have to pay?

Jules, good thread. I do not attach any motivation to it, it's valid and thought provoking.

Hopefully the topic will move some people to evaluate how they market themselves, and why they market themselves the way they do.

Saw a lady in late 2005 based on pictures in an ad on ASPD. turns out the pictures were several years old at the time. She is still advertising with the same pictures as recently as last month.

It was just a BNG, so I went through with the session anyway.

I really would have loved having a session with the gal in the pictures.

As Ze said, with computers and Hi-res cellphone cams, no excuse not to have news pix every couple of months. But then Ze is a techie, so it is easy for her. (and tripping several times going up a staircase behind her, with that fine derriere in front of you is easy as well) lol

Many providers who posted on this thread felt that the client had a right not to go through with an appointment if he wasn't pleased with the appearance or was otherwise uncomfortable. So it sounds like they are united - united in the belief that good customer service is important.

It would be great if all the ladies would post full body pics (sans face) taken within the last 6 months. Shouldn't be a problem, because (as others have implied) that little camera that's included in just about every phone was made to be used. It certainly would bring a lot of speculation to an end about 1 or 2 who seem to have taken this thread personally even though the OP mentioned no names. But continuing to ride with the old photos could have the opposite effect, I suppose....

As a matter of fact, these are from YESTERDAY...at the gym before my five hour long torturous hair appointment (only reason it was torture is because my back is still hurting from the length of time in those chairs).

You can tell this is a "newer, thinner me" than in my previous showcase pics...and you can see I'm in the same shirt I left the gym in...."Batman!"

No, I'm not going to post these on my showcase right now, because someone who isn't following this thread may not understand why the "at the gym" pic would be showcase material.

So, all I did was crop both of them, and use the "cross process" effect and a frame on the second.

No flipping the birdies...simply because I wasn't planning on posting them here...but when I thought about the whole, "how fast you can post an updated picture" idea again, I thought to myself - "Well shit, lookie here...I'm updating you guys right the fuck now! Just over 24 hours ago I changed my look. There you go!" No excuse.

I'll try to post a better "after" pic on my showcase when I have gotten dressed for a day at work or school. Not one having just spent the morning at the gym and the rest of the day in the salon.

The reason I took a somewhat "full body" picture was, again because I'm not scared to claim my 230 pound, size SIXTEEN (not plus size thank you), Six foot, Two inch (6'2") body. I'm proud of it. I don't take nudie pics. (sorry)


Oh! and it is also proof that I actually go to the gym and don't just claim that I go. LOL

Another thing I will put myself on the line to say.

When I first made an attempt to come back after being gone for quite sometime, I had pictures that were quite a few months older and quite a few pounds thinner than what I was. I had considered coming back in the fall of 2010, but didn't...gained a significant amount of weight over the winter/spring and only had a few cleverly posed photos that didn't really show my true size.

Yes, my weight was correct on my showcase and site (some guys even argued with me that there was NO WAY I weighed what I said I did), and my reviews did state what I looked like, AND I made the disclaimer that the older pics (both from my aspd days and fall 2010) were not actually current...I did let guys know that I was NOT YET comfortable taking "all out" pictures at the size I was at...but guys still reviewed me with comments like, "Not a spinner but not BBW either." At that time, I felt I could have easily have fit the BBW definition. I was wearing a size 20. Even at my height, some may say that is not a BBW...but whatever.

Call girls like me a hater all you want. I have talked to Amber in PM's about this as well. Guys will say "pics are accurate" meaning, they matched close enough. Think about it...when a cashier asks to look at your driver's license to match it to your credit card - they want to see that it's "close enough" to accept the transaction. Right? That driver's license is good for what, six to ten years in most cases? So...your mister llama...no disrespect intended...was happy enough with the match, to proceed with his transaction. Having you tell us what he thought, therefore both of y'alls pictures must be verifiable enough...so on and so forth...well, I'm sorry...that's not legitimate enough if I were a guy about to go throw down a few benji's. But that's just the way I personally go shopping for pussy. Other guys could be totally different. I tend to think a lot like a typical man...but maybe there are a lot of "not your typical man" men on this board. Call me a bitch if you will for saying that...it is what it is.

MarieAntoinette is a perfect example of old pics that look a lot different than what her body is now. Her pics were why I and others had seen her, but once entering the room and she sat there naked on the bed, lights should have been low cause pics were decieving.
