The simple fact is that for at least two weeks the President and his administration insisted that the attack was a spontaneous response to a video no one had seen. He said this even though for two weeks he knew it wasn't true.

I give the debate to Romney by a smidgin because he was more factually correct. Obama was rude and obnoxious so I guess he got some tips from Biden.
Romney is right about the price of gas and then Obama wanted things both ways. According to Obama the was almost in recession in January 2009 and that is why the price of gas was low. So the recession happened on Obama's watch according to his words. Now there are people out there talking about a double dip recession so, according to Obama, the price of gas should be pretty low in anticipation. Not so fast Barry. You want it both ways. The price of gas was low because of the recession and high now because of the poor economy. You did cause the closure of several coal plants, you did refuse to renew leases on federal land for oil exploration, and you just chose to lie several times.

Odumbo didn't win anything. Crowley fucked it up, and gave it to Odumbo. She let Odumbo have the first AND last word on at least three different topics. She never allowed Romney to do that. She cut into Romney's time by letting Odumbo go 3:14 minutes longer overall than Romney (Odumbo had more clock time in the 1st debate as well; so did Biden).

Romney did fail to nail Odumbo on Libya, but he still has next week to do so. All Romney has to do is quote Odumbo's remarks pertaining to the mythical "video" from his UN speech on 25 September -- two weeks after the attack.

It was also really telling how fast Odumbo ran away from the "Fast and Furious" issue -- he just ignored it and quickly scurried on to a different topic.

The audience was supposed to be asking the questions: not Crowley.
