Ahem, a procedural question from the sideline.

In an S/M situation, if, by definition, the M half enjoys the activity, can it truly be S? Is giving pleasure, even through giving pain actually sadistic? It seems to me that true sadism would involve doing unpleasant things to people who find it unpleasant.

To answer your question - yes. In the BDSM realm, you typically never find sadism & masochsim not lumped together. The primary reason for that is one of consent. If you are being sadistic to another person and they did not choose to undergo that, then you are not being a lifestyle player. You are being a criminal who is breaking the law by assaulting someone else. Although the reverse is not true, as I've never heard of a masochist being arrested for being hurt. The S&M monikers generally tend to be applied with a wide brush, though not quite as wide as BDSM. S&M typically (at least for those who are in the lifestyle) is used to address the heavier play and players, while the BD (bondage & discipline) is targeted towards players on the less intense end of the spectrum. Not that the descriptors are always correct or appropriately applied. But it's a generally accepted rule-of-thumb.

I don't think that would be my thing, the rape fantasy is borderline to, a lot girls I don't think would like that, rough play is cool, hair pulling, titty slapping, spanking, maybe even a little bondage, tie up, u have to have a safe word or some motion, like when I am gagging my girl with my cock, and it is to much I tell to pat my leg or slap me, it can be lots of fun when eveyone is on the same page

Pain and submission are turn ons for some of us. Everyone has their limits, which may change over time, and remaining in control to the extent that the mutual limts stay respected is of course essential. But in my expereince little is more intimate or exciting than a good BDSM session.

Not sure how one would charactierize this one, but the appearance of providing S & acceptance of M without response is the key to the "Relentless Rape" roleplay...

In this role, the rapist is slow and remorseless, completely ignoring the strikes, kicks, bytes and scratches of the person being raped.
This scenario requires the rapist to have great strength or skill as well as a high pain threshold.

The person being raped experiences an anxiety, adrineline rush from the trapped experience and inexhorable progression.
30-40 thrusts to complete 1 penetration draws out the time the sub resists with all her strength.

Skillful players sometimes play the "take your breath away" routine as part of the rape fantasy...

Really great fun...but careful at work or the gym for the next few days..

Oh Yeah...warning guys...if you really get them into it...your back will often be unprotected and may take awhile to heal...unless they are very controled and comfortable with this.
