NFL and Houston Texans Superthread: Are we ready for some football?

How long do you think it will take for McNair to let go of Duane Brown now?
I say they beat the Pats by one point, that is my wishful prediction. Originally Posted by spear89

Y'all may as well have sent the U of H to Foxboro....the Cougs sure couldn't have done worse than whatever that POS of a team is the Pats have just waxed.....with a 3rd string rookie QB, at that!

The Brock we saw tonight is the one that was pulled for Peyton last year. Could not move the offense. He beat the Pats once but they were ready for him tonight. Terrible play calling sure didn't help. Defense was clueless.
Belichick could have beaten us with Rick Smith as his QB tonight.

the more things change, the more they stay the same. Cant win a night game, and Bellichik eats their lunch.

Also to all the ones blaming Brock, he played poorly like nearly everyone else but it was mostly coaching both offensive and defensive, and it does not help when your special teams turn the ball over twice. Can't put any pressure on the rookie QB, let him fool you on a high school designed run play.

Brock was really the least of it, he was under constant pressure. But yes, he does have to improve, they all do.

A 3rd string rookie quarterback! These muthafuckas got shut the fuck out by a gotdamn 3RD STRING ROOKIE QUARTERBACK!!!!

Offense looked piss-poor out there. Couldn't move the ball past the Patriots 40yd line. Muthafuckas fumbling two kickoff returns. Brock throwing picks yet again.....

Once again BOB gets outcoached by Belichick. BOB will get his ass outcoached again by Kubiak when they play the Broncos in three weeks. At least they'll have some time to get their shit together.

This game was fucking pathetic........

Pretty accurate assessment imho.

.
Brock showed he has a little "Dopey" in him. He was under pressure because of poor OLine play, couldn't run the ball for shit because of poor Oline play. The Oline is the achilles heal of this team.

O was way too conservative early and through out the game. All around pathetic performance. D hung in there for a while holding them to 10-0.

Houston Buzz Kill is the true team's name!!! Fuckers!!

In my two years of self imposed exile I really missed this thread and you hombres, Daddio, Oilfieldscum, Kereil62, et al, you boys have not lost a step. LMAO with 'Scums' pic above!! Great stuff, guys-too bad you have that team to provide all the fuel for your fire!

It's going to be nothing but 2 deep cover all season until Brock shows he can beat it. As one publication pointed out Brock elongated delivery and his slowness in making decisions make him easy to defend which is probably why last season as the season went on he was unable to move the offense

Once the fans realize that, things are going to get ugly real fast.
A few of us said he wasn't worth all that MONEY when they signed him...

OTOH...

I sooooo wanted to come on this thread and congratulate the Texans on whooping Belicheat and the Tom Shady-LESS Cheatriots...instead, they got beat down on National TV

I have a case of the, *sighs*
