There’s a lot of great info in this thread. It appears that Eccie (and P411 to certain extent) are the most comprehensive. I’m really curious about the shelf life of most of these sites. Anyone got any intel on how long provider/hobbyist sites usually stay up & operational?

Great idea...But too many lurkers, not nearly enough contributors.

Sites can stay populat for a long time like TER if they keep up with quality and changing hobby scenario. If not, they perish soon. I've seen some disappear even before they started and some shutdown very quickly from legal troubles.

1) ask staff here for a section.forum on the main page. ask but I bet no, but ya never know would be world wide, I bet no go for Upset NY forum also. what the hell ask anyways.
2) ask staff here if one can still buy a private forum here on icky. I do not know if they still have em or how much it is/was. I was in a few long ago but they died out. Back when I was Life time banned for a few days I could not see any of them when back. The ones I was a member of dead at time, so oh well. No need ta see what I could not get into.
