NFL and Houston Texans Superthread: Are we ready for some football?

It is clear why last year Denver did not start Brock in the Super Bowl and why Elway did not fight to keep him there. He is basically just average or below average. There was not a pick 6 only by the grace of God, that pass was bad and should have been intercepted and run back. The team may well lose every game on the road.

I kinda miss Dopey now...

Vikings are now the only undefeated team in the NFL thanks to the Eagles losing to the Lions and the Broncos losing at home to the Falcons today.

That Bronco loss at home was the shocker of the day IMO...also seems this year that there is many more flat out BAD teams than in past years! My Jets, to name just one!

Didn't get to see much of the game as is was traveling back from Dallas but it sounds like Brock has a little Dopey in him. The damn Oline is shitty. They need to step it up or we could have another ruined QB on our hands.

Brock Back Mountain? Fucking WR's need to get the fuck open too. Nuke has been a dud so far this year.

Got to beat the Colts in Prime time and at home or we are in trouble.

Even if we win the shitty division this team is going nowhere in the playoffs OLine is the weak link, no push at all for the run game and no protection for the QB spells TROUBLE. No rushing TD's so far this year right?

Same old shit another sorry ass quarterback that can't lead a team
Fun Facts~

AFC South: division is a cumulative -69 in scoring differential. No team is (currently) on the plus side of the ledger per. Its early, sure...and this can change for someone (however) its a trend so far to keep an eye on, nonetheless....

Houston (3-0 home / 0-2 road): might want to keep taking care of business in the friendly confines of H-town this Sunday eve vs Indy (and vs the Lions week 8, too). Sandwiched between those games looms a MNF visit to Mile High (and a pissed off Bronco team stewing the next 10 days with a 2-game losing streak).

Doesn't sound like a good time waiting for Brock, does it? Think Son o' Bum will blitz Lurch a few times to welcome him back....? I know I would....

Through five games, the Texans' offense is the worst in the NFL. The Texans are 32nd in DVOA, 30th in rushing, and 32nd in passing. They've scored 82 points, tied for 31st, and don't even have a bye week to use as an argument for their basement-dwelling.

The Texans got extremely lucky!

They play like shit the first 3 quarters and then come back to tie the game and win it in OT. The Colts defense just broke down.

This was a much needed win. Next Monday night they play a well-rested pissed off Broncos team. I'm predicting they'll lose that one.
