NFL and Houston Texans Superthread: Are we ready for some football?

I’ve said it all along, the problem with the Texans starts with Phoney Baloney owner Bob Mcnuttless!!! Such a Phoney!! I only wish this would cost him the franchise like the remarks the LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling comments did for him. At least then we could get rid of this Jackass that only cares about $$$$ and not about winning.

Conservative BO’B lost today’s game despite having the best QB on the field. You gotta have a better call in the playbook than a run up the gut when the game is on the line on 3rd down. To quote the General John McLain that was “Pathetic”, Tough road to hoe the rest of the way with all the no name guys in the secondary blowing coverages every play!!

Teflon Rick and BoB lost this game. Terrible play calling by BoB on final series. Not signing AJ Boye by Rick Smith hurts. Next year we have no first and second round picks so for the next couple of years expect a lot of high scoring loses because Texans will not be able to stop anyone.

Big news is trading of Jimmy G to the 49ers. I guess they figured none of the QBs coming out were worth it.

I agree with Big Louie. We needed the draft picks.

maybe you guys should apply for the job

It's sort of like the data network specialist said to the infantryman after the infantryman tried to make fun of him being data:
If you get shot and killed, I can pick up your weapon and do your job. Can you say the same for me?

y'all probably bitched about Bud Adams too.
There is a reason they are the Texans. Makes it real easy to move to San Antonio.

So what are you saying, people can't complain or the team will leave. Like that's going to happen

Nope, not at all. I am saying that the armchair "owners" and "GMs" are no different than armchair quarterbacks. Sort of like the guy that states if he had been there he would have stomped his ass. He wasn't and he didn't and probably couldn't.

Watson tore his ACL and is out for the season. Next man up is Tom Savage. I think it is time for the Texans to go quarterback shopping.
