NFL and Houston Texans Superthread: Are we ready for some football?

On the one yard line and in the shotgun makes the team to be starting from the seven yard line. Stupid. Just punch the ball in ...
The main (2) issues:

1. The Offensive Line
2. Offensive Play Calling

That's it and that is all. The defense is tired when they get on the field because the offense cannot maintain a drive. Originally Posted by DarthMaul

I don't see how we won that game. Watson played like shit. Our oline collapses immediately after the ball is hiked. Thank gawd their backup QB sucks.

Thank gawd for the D and special teams. They helped the Bills beat themselves.
The Bills QB outsucked our QB. Watson did not play well turning it over like he did. Watching the OL is like watching a prison break!!!

The OL is the weakest link. No RB threat is also worrisome but it is part OL problem again also.

Secondary still is toast most of the time, they made the Bills WR look good for some plays yesterday.

Luckily the AFC South is very bad. We still have a chance to win the division or suck less than the rest!!

First place Houston Texans!!! Yeah that's right we suck less than the Jags, Colts and maybe the Titans!!!

Brock Lostwiener and the Dolphins in town Thursday night!!! B"OB needs some payback on Brock. He left town like a bitch with B'OB. I hope the Defense drills that mfer!!!
Texans traded for Demaryus Thomas (R-DEN) yesterday. Good trade Rick Smit...hold on he's gone. No wonder this trade makes sense. And it only cost us a fourth rd pick.

Well this makes 7 in a row that the Texans barely got by with a W. 23-21 over the Redskins. They have a 2-game lead in the AFC South but need to look out for the Colts. They've won 4 in a row, and today they beat the hell out of the team(Titans) who beat the hell out of the Patriots last week.

AFC South Standings:
Texans 7-3
Titans 5-5
Colts 5-5
Jaguars 3-7(they've lost 7 in a row)

Bad news is that two Texans offensive linemen went down today, so now teams will really be able to get to Deshaun Watson now. That boy better learn how to get rid of the ball quicker since his protection has broken down even more.

Games left on schedule are with:
Titans(Monday Night)
Browns
Colts
@ Jets
@ Eagles
Jaguars

Well even though we didn’t agree with everything he said and did, Bob did bring football back to Houston after a long drought.

I wish him and his family well. I’m wonder how it’s gonna be for the MNF game coming up with the Titans. I’m sure they are putting something together. I’ll be there and can’t wait.
RIP McNuttless! Thanks for bringing football back to Houston. I hope whoever takes over the reigns, probably McNuuttless JR, has bigger football stones than you had.

The new GM has definitely been an upgrade over Rick.

I’m ready for Monday night as well!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see it now. Texans dedicate the rest of season to McNair and go winless the rest of the year... Just. Like. Harvey.

While it was great that a franchise was finally brought (or bought?) back to Houston by Mr McNair, I was saddened to see the Luv ya Blue legacy go into sports extinction. Had Bum's Boys beaten the Steelers once or twice back in the 70's during the playoffs none of that might have never occurred.
