I honestly think this would have been a different series if the Twins would have taken the Yankees to five games.

Oh, and for the record, I am not anti-Rangers. I am just a little annoyed with the winners bandwagon that has formed. Where were all the Rangers t-shirts 3 months ago? I froze my ass off on Mother's Day this year in the rain to watch the Rangers squeek out a 6-4 win against sorry assed Kansas City. I bet there weren't 10,000 people there. Now I can't go to Kroger's without seeing 15 people in Rangers gear. Then again, I guess that's what happens since the Cowboys started offering free greek on sundays.

There is a great photo in the NYTimes showing A-Fraud walking off after the last strikeout, with the Rangers dogpile forming in the background. I wish I could save it - it would make great wallpaper on my computer - but apparently the Times has software to prevent downloading images. Too bad...it's about as perfect a photo as I could imagine.

itsackrit, thanks for posting the photo. I may still pay NYT the 95 bucks for an 8x10 glossy. It's just too classic!
