Let down easy or brutally honest

I think the direct but respectful approach is the best. I recently had a lady decline me. She said that after reading some of my reviews, she didn’t think we would be a good match. It didn’t hurt my feelings an I appreciate that she didn’t believe that she could provide what I like. That’s much better than investing the time and having a bad experience.
