Sex can be disassociated from love. Love cannot be disassociated from sex.
The best way I can define love is.. . The total willingness to be taken from granted and actually like that it makes the object of your love happy.

True uncoditional love exists.

either stay w/ it, do something to change it up, or leave.
you can still love a person after a relationship ends.
(*) did anyone see the episodes of Doc Martin on Ch 13 the other night?
his wife gets more and more frustrated w/ him. then when going after him to get him to discuss the situation, she's hit by a car - serious injuries [concussion, broken shoulder, etc.]. she decides she needs space and plans to go to spain w/ her sister or mother. when Doc finds out she has a SERIOUS life threatening complication in one of her brain vessels, he goes and gets her off the plane and performs the surgery, saving her life. at the end of the episode, she tells him thank you for what you did.
he responds ... "you're my patient and you're my wife."
the character definitely loves her, but is written in such a way as that he just is not fully able to express it [as well as treat others in a respectful manner].
noticed he didnt say "you're my wife and you're my patient" or "you're my wife and
most importantly you're my patient."
love is fickle and layered w/ so much other stuff that it's often difficult to know how "true" it is.
but "love is all we need"
