I hate to say it, but this behavior towards newbies is completely rampant. Not long ago, I did a bit of an experiment where I ran 2 BP ads. One as the well known and reviewed Grace, and another as a newbie with less than great selfies, no reviews, no traces of having been in the business before, etc.

Grace's messages were all polite and she only received one request for BBFS, who was still polite when I declined.
