Carlisle squeezed all he could out of this team, imo.....if you recall most / all of the preseason predictions: no one had Dallas making the top 8 in the West.
With Parsons out (again) and many others hobbled, this latest version of the Mavs had no chance to advance past the 1st round....again.
Cuban will insist on reloading (again) with veterans / free agents and trying once more next season. Anyone wasting time / energy thinking KD might sign here is a fool. Dallas is simply not a basketball destination for that upper echelon of free agents.
That said, get ready to seeing contracts being offered to another batch of cast offs and misfit toys.... :/
