so every one has sympathy for girls that can make at least $100 an hour, yet are fine especially (Republicans and Conservatives on this site) with people busting their asses all day (8+) for minimum wage and not even making that(what an uneducated girl can make in 20min?
I agree with the OP
I AM a liberal, not mysoginistic but just looking at things with an unbiased view; (and if you say the girls have to put up with more... so $$ more per session does negates the mental&psycological pain of prostituing yourself) that's sad...get out of the business if $$$ allows you to live with yourself.

I highly support a universal living wage (as a minimum wage) for honest work
and believe politicians like LOYD DOGGET AND PRESIDENT OBAMA are great.

I have my bachelor's degree and am currently working on my master's. Uneducated? I think not. Providing allows me to make a substantial amount of money in just a few hours of time, which leaves me plenty of time to study

how 'bout them apples?!
I never made that! Even in the early nineties, I received $150-250 per hr. I'd get outta this biz if that was the extent of it. I tell guys who ask about $100 to "Hit the track, my friend."

For those of you that think that $60, $100, or whatever arbitrary amount is a great wage, why aren't you out sucking dick or taking one up the ass for $200, $400 or $1000 an hour?

You've all heard this one before:

Man: Would you fuck me for $1,000,000?
Woman: Sure
Man: would you fuck me for $100?
Woman: No way! What kind of a woman do you think I am?
Man: We've already established what kind of a woman you are, we're just negotiating prices now.

Now just change the "Woman" to "You". Maybe the numbers are different, would you suck a dick for $10 million? $100 million? Don't answer here, most of the answers would be colored by your need to protect your reputation.

Forget for a moment that a straight woman prefers men but they don't prefer you. They are still compromising who they are sleeping with for the sake of money. To compare the amount of money it takes for that compromise to happen with "unskilled labor wage" is asinine.

There are factors and variables that we know and don't know at work when we talk about rates in the hobby. Some girls' rates don't have anything to do with market forces, going wages for <whatever>, business plan, or anything logical.

Bottom line is that the girls have a price of entry for the same reason why you wouldn't suck dick for less than $xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. If it agrees with you, great. If not, don't see her. But for Pete's sake, do not agree to one term and change the agreement mid or post meeting. Shorting someone is bad form in the hobby or any business deal.

Don't get me wrong, I have and will point out that the rates in Austin are a bit out of line from other nearby cities, but that's a different discussion than the comparisons laid out here.

BUT, how many providers will admit that they would do this type of work for less? If the hobbyist was their type will she charge less? If she likes that a hobbyist takes her to dinner and shopping, would she charge less? I doubt it. The price of entry, currently, is what she thinks she can get out off the mark, or what her friends (or WK) tells her she ought to charge.

If the roles were reversed it is hard to say what to charge. Men are dick driven and would do FS for a fraction of what the women would (IMO). Then the price goes higher as the attraction level drops (for some). If she was not good looking she would get charged more. The service doesn't change, the amount of time doesn't change, it is completely subjective as to how price is determined. So instead of a flat rate for time, why isn't there a pricing system based on level of attraction? (I spend too much time at work looking at numbers).

So can someone tell me why is it 200/hr vs 100/hr again?
