Not everybody can leave work without a medical emergency or prior notice. What if her parents are the kind that think, "she's your problem when she's in school, if you can't control her how can I?" What if the girl had a weapon on her? Even a pencil could put his eye out or kill him. You f'n hit a police officer, you're showing that you have the potential for more violence. She's lucky he didn't pull a taiser out. But then you would have said, "well he's bigger than her, he could have just dragged her out."
Since the girl has learned that she can do whatever she wants now, if she is expelled and wants to cause trouble by going back to school, who's going to be able to stop her if they think they will loose their jobs if they even touch her?
I don't like seeing an officer do what he did but I still say if she respected authority figures, wouldn't be crying for attention, and thinking she can do whatever she wants this wouldn't have happened, she got what she wanted. They should only have punished the officer by not giving him a raise for it. IMO, the only reason he was fired was Ferguson. He did what he needed to do since asking her got no where.
