As a Rockets fan (and a Spurs fan once the Rockets are eliminated), I did not have a dog in this fight. But I thought the Heat would win the series. I will give credit where credit is due, the Mavs kicked ass. Congrats to them!

You may be right that most Spurs fans were pulling for the Mavs but I believe it had more to do with hating the Heat. If the Mavs were playing Boston or Chicago I don't think near as many Spurs fans would have been on the Mav band wagon. In past years the Spurs fans hated the Mavs and vice versa.
