If the bitch cared two whits about her state she would concede and save the taxpayers a ton of money from a run-off election. Then again, you never know, there are those that demand a totally pure candidate and will sit on their hands rather than vote for the other guy.

IBH, your statement is absolute nonsense. To get elected president, you have to win the electoral college. When Obama beat McCain and Mitt, Obama got over 300 electoral college votes. You only need 270 to win. Lets talk about the 2008 election. Obama won states like Iowa, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Minnesota. The population size of black people in these states extremely small. The vote from white people allowed Obama to win these states. Case closed, you lose. Originally Posted by flghtr65

But of course the X percent that voted FOR Obama because he is black wouldn't be negated by the Y percent who voted AGAINST him for the same reason? Racists exist in all colors, not only black.

But what happened in 2008 and 2012 are not relevant to 2014. By last week most all of his lies were exposed and his failures have been sufficiently felt to warrant a shifting of the votes away from the "Grand Liberal-Socialistic Experiment" and back to some reality. It seems as though some base votes were either cast for the opposition or not cast at all because some enlightenment has occurred and those he "assumed" would vote for him and his socialistic-antiAmerican rhetoric defected to common sense and truth.

By the time this guy FINALLY vacates the White House those who the Democratic Party have always taken for granted will no longer be "available" on election day and the Democratic Party may have to start earning their loyalty and actually doing something productive for them as opposed to passing out poverty level checks and false promises.

I cannot really disagree with your post. There were, I am certain, a lot of "anything is better than what we have" votes cast, as there were in 2008. That is exactly why I do not think the Dems had a "mandate" in 2008 ( thought they acted as if they did), and why I do not believe the Reps have one now.

The joke on those who voted for Obama as an "against the opposition" got the same stuff from Obama that they voted against! But it was okay because a Black man was saying it and doing it! They got intoxicated on the snake oil and intimidated with the race card.

Holder, Sharpton, Jackson, Obaminable, the biased media, and the Ferguson invaders ransacking the neighborhood businesses were not a good image to portray to "intimidate" those who voted for Obaminable because they were afraid they would be criticized for not supporting a Black man's "agenda."

In fact, if anything, it reminded them of why they shouldn't and they got a pass for voting against it. This photo op sent the wrong message:

Narcissism at its finest. Elitism at its worst. The "connected" Black man vs. the cop.
Strange that Obama could get the "voters" to Ferguson but not to the polls this week.

Further, unlike the black vote, there's no extant statistical evidence to support any contention that voters turned out in increased numbers to vote against Odumbo because of his skin color.
