That explains what happened to me a few nights ago. I was at Baby Dolls and asked for a glass of Sterling Merlot. At first taste, the wine was clearly bad. It was undrinkable. The bottle had been open too long. So, I politely asked the bartender if she could give me fresh glass. This has not been a problem in the past. All bars do this.

The bartender immediately called over one of the managers who told me they cannot 'comp' drinks. He said, 'there isn't even a 'comp' button on the register.' His tone was unnecessarily rude.

I felt ripped off. Replacing a bad glass of wine with a fresh glass is a common business practice. So, I decided to leave, even though I'd only had one sip of my first drink, and spend my money elsewhere.

If Baby Dolls' service continues to decline, I think it's a business opportunity for someone who can run a strip club like the Baby Dolls used to and has money. Perhaps an investor group could be put together from ECCIE members. I'd be interested in being a silent investor.

Could be a one off. I go to a number of Rick's owned clubs. Though rare, if I do have a problem with a drink or food, I go directly to the manager and they take care of me. One thing this also does is remove any miscommunication by the waitress or bartender about what the issue is and what I want. If a manager was rude to me or didn't provide the service I'm asking for, I would then ask to speak to the GM. all managers are not good managers by any means

Fuck bdfw if Rick's brings in that corporate greed shit. Maybe someday they will get their act together and actually open back up that green machine. They have lost a lot of money keeping it closed because they can't get their shit together...fucking rookies

I can tolerate an slight increase in coverm, same with slight increase in drinks
But if they hound the ladies to do zero outside an overpriced vip they I won’t go. I go there for the ladies, so they get my drink money becuase, I HAPPEN to buy drinks Along the way.
I mean. I willingly pay for way overpriced bud and Miller there, very different than any other place i drink.

Ricks has owned it for about 2 weeks. They want to change it up a bit inside and things like registers are not just sitting around waiting to be picked up. And having been involved with mergers at the operational level. I can asure you it's not as simple as handing over the keys. Things can be planned out ahead of a buyout, but many expenses involved to not start until the papers are signed and final.

We have been living without bdfw for three years so it's not like anybody needs it. Especially if Rick's fucks it up. They will need to get reestablished and take care of the dancers and customers. If they go with a vip section I'm out for sure. That shit is for corporate profit only.
