Forrcast John takes the black and returns to to the Nights Watch,
This allows denerys to win the iron throne without countering claims.

And WOMAN POWER WINS AGAIN then the last dragon lays 3 eggs meaning the dragons were women the hole timr.m women power again. Last area kills the mountain,

And just before the credits roll, w e realize the last ...uh...people standing were women

Talk about poor military intelligence. Should' have someone informed Dany that Cercie had built multitudes of the huge crossbows called "Scorpians" that could bring down a dragon?
Not patting myself on the back (however) I made that call a week ago, as well.

The first (crude) Scorpion Qyburn had built was basically a prototype; (reminder: last season Bronn used it during the Dothraki horde's attack on the Lannister battalion after they'd taken down Lady Tyrell and her powder puff army. Drogon was injured but not fatally, of course).

It stood to reason many more (and more sophisticated) models would be built in anticipation of their planned assault on Kings Landing. Again, Tyrion, Greyworm, and Daeny should have all been able to reasonably anticipate that possibility. They continue to show little to no military aumen.

Their tactic of having nary one advanced scout ship leading their armada defies any strategy. One ship would have easily seen a trap had been laid and a warning shot to alert the rest of the fleet could have been executed. Their failures to consider all options make them look "out-coached".

And perhaps that's what the writers/ directors want us to think. Maybe next week they unveil an ace up their sleeve none of us saw coming.

Maybe Arya makes it into Kings Landing and assumes the identity of someone close to Cersei....close enough to kill her and end the war.

If they can't come up with a better use of a weapon there is no answer for (ie: massive creatures that can both fly AND spit truckloads of napalm at will) then they will lose another dragon (if not BOTH) to Qyburn's Scorpion.....of which he may have multiple ones built by now....armed and ready for use in order to protect King's Landing and his queen, Cercei.

Brutal ending last night. Doesn't look too good for Daenerys at this point.

Hopefully we will at least see the Cleganebowl before this thing ends.

Daeny and Drogon could make a night attack on King's Landings fixed positions. Flying a route parallel to and behind the walls -- and behind the Scorpions: which are all aimed outwardly -- would inflict great damage on the defenses with just one scorching pass.

GoT #4 Season 8 ended with Arya Stark and Sandor "The Hound" Clegane on horseback heading south.

Sandor's conflict with his brother Gregor is well established.

Arya has a "list" of people to kill - and in several episodes expressed her desire to kill Cersei.

This is likely a literary tool - "setting the precedent" to prepare for an event.

I think it likely both will arrive in King's landing and Arya - the assassin- will kill Cersei with the Valeryian steel dagger used to kill the Night King.

The battle between the Cleganes - likely Sandor wins. Why - it is necessary to remove Cersei's bodyguard prior to Arya killing Cersei.

My thoughts

any takers on a bet?????

here is the GOT Wiki ..

this tells the entire back story of .. all of it. i still say it's a bittersweet ending, the Evil ending is now unlikely (but fans are spinning theories lol) and if Martin goes Disney it will be a pussy ass move for so gritty and realistic effort.

so as they say .. there can be only one ..

Aegon Targaryen.

and yet another fandom theory ... more dragons! and Tyrion is really Targaryen? he's probably mutt Targaryen now! bahhaa

i'm going for the bittersweet end.

so two episodes to go! the Evil option may be unlikely (despite fandom theories) there can still be a hard/dark ending. the hard/dark ending is Cerci wins and remains Queen of the seven realms.

there isn't gonna be a Disney fairy princess ending. Martin didn't write a set of dark gritty novels to pull on a pink pussy Disney hat now.

so what's it gonna be?

a bittersweet end or a dark end?

that's all that remains.
